★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is not vegan but several of the dishes can be made vegan & chef Patrick was glad to accommodate. I ordered the lentil soup, quinoa salad & Brussels. EVERYTHING was delicious 😋😋😋 & the portion sizes were very generous so i had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow! The lentil soup is house made, not from the can & i could taste the love ❤️ right along with the chopped carrots, celery & onions. The seasonings in the soup married together nicely; nice consistency, not too thick but still hearty. The quinoa salad was AMAZING!!! I didn't expect it to be so flavorful since this is not a vegan restaurant but the dressing was so tasty, the arugula was fresh & the tomatoes with sautéed onions layered well. The brussels delectable, seared not burnt & balsamic glaze on top added a nice touch. Service was fantastic, the Chef even came out to ask if I liked everything; I told him NO, I don't like it, I LOVE it & will definitely back. Don't let the menu fool you, this place has great options for vegans & the prices are reasonable.
August 24 · C. GordonHow you ever felt in the mood to eat out, but didn’t know what to eat? Well here’s the solution. The flavors at this location are off the chart, the service is friendly and on point, and don’t sleep on the wide variety of high quality dishes. This restaurant doesn’t just deserve 5 stars you can tell that it was earned. Also shout out to the chef who was also our server. If I could cook like him, mannnnnnn i don’t know if I could be as humble.-Definitely will be returning
June 17 · Gabriel CarralI am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding a recent and unacceptable experience with one of your cooks, who I was told is also a part-owner.On [ Thursday August 27 2025], I ordered a $43 well-done steak with two sides of mashed potatoes. The receipt clearly stated "well done." Despite this, the cook took it upon himself to disregard my preference, telling me it would be prepared "juicy." This was the first of several issues. When the steak was served, it was undercooked and inedible. The cook offered a complimentary replacement steak for a future visit to correct the mistake. I was told to call back to arrange the order, which I did twice before being instructed to call back on a specific day (Sunday) when he would be present. When I called back on Sunday, as instructed, the cook's demeanor immediately turned hostile, condescending, and unprofessional. He reneged on his promise for a complimentary steak, claiming a "complimentary" item could be a side of mashed potatoes or a soda. This was a clear attempt to gaslight me into accepting a ridiculous and insulting resolution for a $43 meal that I could not eat.His behavior was not only rude and condescending but also displayed a complete lack of integrity. He raised his voice, became confrontational, and threatened not to take my orders in the future, as if I were the one at fault. This is not the way to treat a customer, let alone one who was simply following instructions given by the restaurant's own staff. This experience is deeply troubling. It's disheartening to see a neighborhood establishment treat its customers with such disrespect and fail to honor its promises. An owner's role is to ensure quality and customer satisfaction, not to create a hostile environment and engage in bait-and-switch tactics.I hope this review reaches the other owners and they take this matter seriously. I will not be returning to The Corner Lounge.
August 31 · Tr. BThe chef can really cook his butt off. I’ll make the claim it’s the best seasoned and cooked burger in Harlem. Best seasoned and cooked chicken and waffle in Harlem. It’s a spot you want to do really well in business but keep local because it’s so phenomenal. A true gem. I’ve had the burger, steak sandwich, catfish, chicken, etc. Never a bad meal. Not even close.
September 09 · Jamal FerrellMy first time at Corner Lounge. If you want weekend brunch without feeling you're still in the club from the night before, this is the place for you. Good music at an acceptable level to hear your tables conversation. I just got a couple apps, the Margherita flatbread with chicken and bbq wing. Pizza was not soggy and wing through not fried were nicely crisp with a tangy brown sugar sauce. At the recommendation of Belle server/ bartender (loved her) good vibes from her. I got the Devil Margarita, delicious if you want something lite to sip, this is the drink for you
