The Pandorica Introduce
For New York users seeking a genuinely unique and delightfully quirky dining experience outside the hustle of the city, The Pandorica in Beacon, NY, is a premier destination. More than just a British restaurant, this establishment is a dedicated and professionally executed tribute to the beloved science fiction series, Doctor Who. Named after the legendary prison box, The Pandorica offers an eclectic menu of comforting British and themed cuisine in an atmosphere that is truly "bigger on the inside," appealing to both die-hard 'Whovians' and those simply looking for great food in a cozy setting.
The restaurant, which identifies as women-owned, has successfully blended the culinary tradition of classic British comfort food—think savory pies, hearty fish and chips, and authentic bangers and mash—with the playful spirit of the iconic BBC show. The menu items themselves are a nod to the Doctor’s adventures, featuring whimsical names like 'Thymey Wimey Beef Cottage Pie,' 'Big Bangers And Mash,' and the famous dessert, 'Fish Fingers And Custard' (a delightfully creative twist on the 11th Doctor's favorite snack). This blend of quality cooking and engaging theme makes The Pandorica a special place in the New York dining landscape.
The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and trendy, intentionally decorated with subtle references and props that create the feeling of dining inside the Doctor’s time machine. Guests can enjoy their meal while classic episodes play on the screen, surrounded by Doctor Who art, including a nod to the iconic TARDIS in the restroom—a feature that has become a fan favorite. Beyond the novelty, the commitment to excellent food quality, fast service, and a comprehensive selection of beverages, particularly their great tea selection, ensures that The Pandorica stands out as a high-value restaurant option in the Hudson Valley region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A nice restaurant if you are interested in Doctor who. The waitress was so nice and friendly. I like how honest she was, since I ordered fries only, she told me since they use air-fryer, may feel dry if I don’t want gravy on top. Also, the meal which supposed come with fries from other picture, no long cork with it. And they changed to a bag of chip.
September 16 · DaDaPretty cool spot. Def one of a kind type of place. They got British food here. I’ll come back for some tea and maybe try the burgers. Got the sweet chili wings which were probably the best wings I ever had in my life. It’s kinda random but fun. Good service. Nice folks.
July 07 · Justin DelossantosThe Pandorica is a Dr. Who-themed eatery where they make sandwiches, salads & British classics, plus lots of tea & weekly Dr. Who trivia events. The Food is very good, but the atmosphere is amazing.
June 11 · Tom AquiloneAuthentic British food (derogatory).Just like mum used to make (derogatory).Yeah, the food sucks. It's not actively bad, like nothing is burned or anything, but it is bland and underwhelming and textureless. And overpriced. Super overpriced. But you're not here for the food, you're here for the environment, and sure enough Doctor Who fans will find plenty to coo over, from a TARDIS-munching T-Rex installed over the entryway to the toilet (whose door is also TARDIS-themed) to what look like reconstructions of props and some cute portraits and knitted figures of various Doctors. The space is large and airy, which maybe limits the atmosphere a bit - feels like it should be smaller and winding, with hidden corners, but I guess I can't blame them for not moving to an entirely different building! However, it seems like a great venue for watchalongs and group meet-ups.The staff are all friendly, and you'll likely encounter a bunch of fellow nerds to swap stories and such with (but who else is going to come here?). I believe they also organise events with cast members who are in the area, so keep an eye out for that.So yeah, if you're passing by, have the money and want a bit of novelty (and don't really care about food), then this will suffice. And if there are nerd events going on, it's probably great. But if you just want to eat, there are so many better places to get food in Beacon.
September 07 · James WilkinsonIt is quaint and friendly accomdating. Food was delicious flavorful. Okay I added salt to one item. I would rather add. Small but didn't feel cramped. One of the best ice teas I ever had and they can make a good cup of coffee. We will be back.
