Many patrons appreciate the thin-crust pizza with its unique, slightly 'sweet' sauce profile. Notably, the ability to request and actually receive a 'well-done' pizza differentiates it from many competitors, providing a preferred texture for those who dislike doughy crusts. The emphasis on fast service ensures that even during busy times, the wait for a delicious meal is minimized, a definite perk in a fast-paced environment.

While the reviews indicate that the pizza is generally satisfying, with the flavor and crust noted as highlights, it is important for customers to be aware of the varied experiences in side dishes and service consistency. For instance, the pizza itself is often described as "pretty good" and "not doughy." However, some feedback points to variability in non-pizza items, such as the wings, and occasional service inconsistencies like staggered order delivery. As a content writer, it is important to provide a balanced, factual view. The main attraction remains the quality and specific style of their pizza, which many New York customers find to be a standout, particularly when asking for it well-done. The price point is also a consideration for patrons, who are advised to focus on the core pizza offerings for the most positive experience. The Pizza Pit accepts reservations and is suitable for various groups, including families with kids, solidifying its place as a useful, local Italian and pizza option in the Sloatsburg area.
In conclusion, for those in the New York region looking for a reliable, local pizza spot with a great thin crust, a cozy setting, fast service, and commitment to accessibility, The Pizza Pit in Sloatsburg remains a highly viable and recommended choice, particularly for its signature pizzas.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It didn't look good when I ordered a large pie with sautéd onions, and they asked me 'what are sautéd onions?' Surprisingly though, the pizza was pretty good. The sauce has a nice 'sweet' taste to it, it's thin and not doughy, and they actually make it 'well-done' when you ask, unlike every other pizza place on earth. Do NOT get the wings though. They are $18 for a dozen, and they are the WORST wings I've ever had. They must broil them in the oven - they definitely were not fried. Very rubbery and NO bbq sauce whatsoever on them. Stay clear of those, trust me. But I actually liked the pizza, even though that's way too expensive for what it is too. It's a little pizza shop in Sloatsburg, not Manhattan!
September 30 · Refuge Inc.My pizzas came out 20 minutes apart from each other. They didn't even cook my 2 pizzas at the same time. I was the only person in there when I came in and placed the order.Their pre-made slices looked great. The two pizzas I ordered from them looked like they were told to skimp on toppings. Barely any cheese on their white pizza (which is literally white sauce and cheese). I felt mostly like I was eating dough. The sausage/ pepperoni pizza also barely had cheese on it.I'm disappointed in the price I paid ($50 for 2 large pizzas, one cheese and one 2 topping) for the amount of ingredients actually put on top of the dough. When I called after I got home, they didn't seem to care or offer a replacement. I won't be returning.
