The Rogue Boba Introduce
In the heart of Brooklyn's vibrant DUMBO neighborhood, nestled within the renowned Time Out Market, you'll find a bubble tea experience unlike any other: The Rogue Boba. This is a place that elevates the simple bubble tea into a true craft, focusing on quality ingredients and fresh, natural flavors. While New York City is home to countless bubble tea spots, The Rogue Boba stands out by dedicating itself to a superior product, sourcing its loose-leaf tea and boba from a family-run company in Taiwan, and its fresh fruits and seasonal ingredients from local purveyors.
The Rogue Boba is the brainchild of the same team behind the popular plant-based Chinese eatery, The Rogue Panda, located on the fifth floor of Time Out Market. This lineage speaks to a commitment to quality and a passion for Asian-inspired cuisine and beverages. The Rogue Boba's location on the ground level of the market makes it a perfect stop for a quick, refreshing drink while exploring the market's vast culinary offerings or enjoying the stunning waterfront views. The brand's focus on non-syrup-based drinks and real fruit sets it apart, a fact that is not lost on its loyal customers who appreciate the authentic and refreshing taste.
The atmosphere is casual and inviting, a reflection of the Time Out Market itself. It’s an ideal place for a quick stop to grab a drink to go, or to enjoy your beverage while wandering through the bustling food hall. The reviews speak volumes, with patrons raving about the freshness and taste of the drinks, particularly the Watermelon Lychee, which has earned a reputation for being an absolute must-try. This commitment to fresh, non-artificial flavors is what has made The Rogue Boba a standout choice among the many excellent vendors in the market.
The Rogue Boba is conveniently situated on the first floor of Time Out Market at 55 Water St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, USA. The market is located in the DUMBO neighborhood, a popular destination for both locals and tourists due to its iconic views and proximity to the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. The market is a bi-level waterfront destination that offers a curated lineup of some of the city's best food and drink, making The Rogue Boba an integral part of an already premier location.
Accessing the market and The Rogue Boba is straightforward. It is easily reachable by various forms of public transportation, including the F, A, and C subway lines, and multiple bus routes. For those who prefer to drive, there are parking options available, though public transit is highly recommended to avoid the congestion of the area. The location is also very friendly to pedestrians and cyclists, making it an excellent stop during a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge or a ride through Brooklyn Bridge Park. The Time Out Market building itself, Empire Stores, is a historic warehouse that has been beautifully repurposed, providing a unique and atmospheric backdrop for your visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I got the watermelon lychee tea and it’s delicious. It’s super fresh, not too sweet and lychee jelly adds the perfect touch. Definitely one of the best stalls in the Time Out Market.
April 21 · Breanna Garcia-ladianaWhatttt! Their watermelon lychee slushie? Made with fresh watermelon juice?! Watermelon juice made every 1-2 days?? I’m obsessed. I’m getting a big cup weekly. It’s exactly what you want during the summer - real fruit juice (non-syrup/chemicals like most places), light, icy, with lychee sorbet and slushie. So refreshing and cannot wait to get it again. I swapped out the jelly with boba and their bobas are delicious - chewy and divine.5 stars!!!
July 25 · Bonnie GleicherSlightly disappointed with the boba here - pearls were rock hard, the five spice was diluted and had a weird flavors, and not enough ice. Staff was great though!
January 17 · Gabriel CentenoThe young man greeted us today very welcoming and the mango pass fruit boba is a must try ! Delicious for this summer, will be coming back !
August 05 · Wendy ZaragozaThey forgot my order and were rude when I reminded them. Boba was good but not great. Overall, workers did not deserve the $5 tip I gave them
