The Warwick Inn Introduce
For discerning diners in the New York region seeking an authentic and extensive Italian dining experience, The Warwick Inn in Warwick, NY, provides a classic, upscale environment. This Italian restaurant is known for its wide-ranging menu that skillfully blends traditional Italian staples with premium American cuts and fresh seafood, ensuring a dish to satisfy nearly every palate. Operating as a fine dining establishment, The Warwick Inn offers a cozy yet sophisticated setting, complete with the comforting ambiance of a Fireplace, making it an ideal choice for a romantic evening, a family celebration, or an important business dinner.
The culinary philosophy at The Warwick Inn is rooted in providing high-quality, generously portioned meals across numerous categories. The menu is robust, featuring signature Italian pasta dishes like the rich Rigatoni Bolognese, creamy Penne Vodka, and the luxurious Lobster Ravioli. Beyond pasta, the kitchen excels with specialty preparations of meat and poultry, such as Chicken Saltimbocca and the highly-regarded Beef Short Ribs, which, despite one reviewer noting the price, was described as being "enjoyed very much." For those seeking a truly exceptional steakhouse experience, the menu offers prime selections like the Black Angus Rib Eye and Filet Mignon, alongside fresh seafood entrées such as Scallops and various Shrimp preparations.
While the restaurant aims for a fine dining standard, it remains Family-friendly, offering a dedicated Kids' menu with popular choices like Meatballs over spaghetti. Guests are encouraged to check for the daily specials, as the menu is frequently augmented with unique, off-menu dishes, reflecting a commitment to fresh and seasonal culinary creativity.
It is worth noting that customer reviews suggest the overall dining experience can be inconsistent. While many praise specific dishes (like the Scallops with risotto), feedback mentions issues regarding frozen appetizers (such as Calamari), inattentive service, and an unexpected 3.5% credit card surcharge. Customers planning to visit should be aware of these details to ensure a smoother experience, perhaps considering payment via check or debit card to avoid the credit surcharge and inquiring directly about current daily specials and vegetable accompaniments.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was a last minute selection for a Saturday evening dinner. While I thought our entrées were generally pretty tasty, in the end this is basically run-of-the-mill red sauce, Italian at a pretty high price for the area. The calamari appetizer that we shared was most likely frozen, and seemed to be a little well-done. two of us had the chicken Albonetti, which we enjoyed my husband had the short ribs which he enjoyed very much but at $38 it is really fully priced. Also…We were told that the entrées came with potatoes and vegetables, but there were no vegetables served. There was another strange issue when we paid the bill, we were five people and one person was paying for three on his credit card and I was paying for two people on my credit card, but they couldn’t figure out how to handle it. The final insult is that they add a 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. Obviously in this day and age everybody pays with a credit card so it is pretty shady to add this on top of your final dinner bill. If your restaurant is performing that poorly, raise your prices a little bit to cover the cost of credit cards and don’t insult your customers with a surcharge.Sorry to say, but this place seems like it’s on its last legs.
February 27 · ESB NYCCame for our anniversary dinner tonight. First I'll tell you about my wife's meal. It was fabulous and she enjoyed every bite (highly recommend the scallops with risotto). Now I'll tell about my experience. I had veal francaise with a side of fries. Veal was okay, nothing great, fries were from frozen, not even fresh cut. I tried to order a garlic bread for dipping in my francaise sauce and my waiter looked at me like I had four heads before telling me "we don't make that". Speaking of waiters ours was very inattentive, and we actually had to ASK other staff for a waiter. He barely spoke to us and seemed like we were actually bothering him for service. We didn't even know there were specials for the evening. We found out about those later, AFTER our meal, when we overhead another waiter telling the table across from us what they were.Bread that they give for the table were two barely warm Kaiser rolls. What a shame, so many of our friends said years this place was so great. For the prices they charge it should be a lot better.
September 19 · Michael FischettiWe thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Warwick Inn. We had the lobster ravioli and the chicken avocado. Both were delicious although the ravioli was a very small dish. The chocolate moose cake was amazing. The decor is classic old country. We appreciated the cloth head toppers for our comfortable seating, presumably to provide a removable, washable, clean headrest. The topper of our experience was our host "Lou" who was engaging, entertaining, funny and friendly. He was as also informative regarding our food and drinks. He created delicious drinks for us. Our servers were also friendly and attentive to our needs. We look forward to visiting in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating.
November 04 · Sharon KellyAmazing place. Beautiful, quiet place, with delicious food. I had the most amazing Chilean Sea Bass with pistacchio crust and some other stuff that i don’t know, but it was incredible, mouthwatering:)Excellent service, definitely coming back.Highly recommend it :)
April 30 · M KA must go. The look alone (5*) is worth a sit and a drink. The food is tasty. We had the beef dish (4*), burger (3*), salmon and pasta dish (4*). Service was extremely great (5*). I will absolutely be coming back.
