★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m all for supporting small business, and I totally understand the inflation problem we are all dealing with, but when I opted in for the “big tacos” and not the happy hour “taquitos” I had no idea we were using a new metric system. It was 6pm on a Friday night, so it’s not like they were running out of food.I paid $66 (needless tip included in that calculation) for an order of 3 of the smallest tacos with a teaspoon full of pork and my vegan gf had 3 of the puniest strips of nopal tacos I have ever seen in my life. I was insulted. You shouldn’t be able to fit 3 open face tacos on a plate, and there’s room for a fourth!!! The tacos were gone in 1.5 gingerly bites, no exaggeration. You might ask if the food was good and the truth is, it was bland. They put a little bit the sauce on for you. Everything about it is just feels like I’m at a music festival getting price gouged. We also ordered chips and guac at a whomping $16 and the portion was so small, I had to break out my native Spanish tongue and let them know that it was insulting, and the cashier knew it! She quickly brought it back to the kitchen and gave me an extra scoop to make it “right”. The whole thing felt like my intelligence was being utterly insulted. I will never come back here if this is what you need to do to keep your business running. Shame on me for going to a nightclub to get Mexican food, but all these reviews made it seem like it was actually worth it. Plus, not too many places offer vegan options but this was genuinely offensive. I don’t give out bad reviews unless I feel something is egregious and this is pretty bad. 2 stars because I feel guilty leaving any business 1 star but this experience would truly warrant that.
