Enoteca Ama Introduce
For residents of and visitors to the New York region seeking a truly authentic taste of Italian pizza, Enoteca Ama offers an elevated and memorable dining experience right in the vibrant heart of Beacon, New York. Situated on the lively Main Street, this pizza restaurant stands out in the Hudson Valley for its dedication to traditional wood-fired, thin-crust pizza. The experience centers around their imported Italian Pavesi brick hearth oven, which imparts a perfect 'fire-kissed' quality and a delightfully crispy crust to every pie.
Enoteca Ama is more than just a pizza place; it functions as a modern enoteca—a wine-focused establishment—that pairs its incredible food with a well-curated, all-Italian wine list. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance: it is casual enough for a quick lunch, yet cozy and trendy enough for a comfortable and engaging dinner, attracting a mixed crowd of locals, groups, and tourists exploring the scenic area. The menu extends beyond pizza to offer simple, high-quality Italian fare, including starters like flavorful Meatballs and refreshing salads, all prepared with rich and real ingredients. The staff is consistently praised for being amazing, creating a welcoming environment that makes every guest feel at home.
The restaurant proudly specializes in a variety of pizzas, categorized as Pizza Rosse (Red Pies) and Pizza Bianche (White Pies). The Red Pies feature classic tomato-based flavors, including the foundational Margherita ($16.00) and the popular Prosciutto ($20.00). However, the standout is the highly-recommended Coppa Piccante ($17.00), celebrated for its nice blend of meaty and herby flavors. The White Pies offer rich, more complex flavors, such as the Figura ($20.00) with fresh figs and prosciutto, and the indulgent Tartufata ($23.00), made with truffle and porcini spread. Beyond pizza, the Primi Piatti (Appetizers) are essential, with the delicious Meatballs ($16.00) being a fan favorite. For a lighter bite, the Insalata menu offers options like Arugula ($13.00), while the Paninis provide another casual lunch option.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fabulous pizza place! Each bite of pizza was a burst of warmth and flavor. Pizzas were deliciously thin, with crispy crust and flavorful toppings. We got the meatballs and Cesaré (caesar) salad as appetizers and the Coppa Piccante and Tartufata pizzas as well as tiramisu for dessert. The meatballs were absolutely delicious and the bread it came with was crispy and fresh with a dash of olive oil. The Caesar salad was fresh with crispy croutons and great dressing. My favorite pizza was the Coppa Piccante—my recommendation for those who are skeptical of pizza! It had great flavor and had a nice blend of meaty and herby flavors. The Tartufata was alright, and great if you like truffles. Our dessert, the tiramisu, was also yummy and quite sweet. We did wait quite a while (30 mins) for our pizza tho, as it almost seemed that the waiters forgot about us. Cute and cozy place with fresh food and a great ambiance— definitely recommend!
May 25 · AmyThis is one of the best woodfire pizza places in the Hudson valley. You will know when you can taste all the rich and real ingredients they use. You will go “hmmm” with every bite. It’s thin crust and you will finish it all. The staff was amazing, makes you feel at home, great beer selection, it was just a great experience
August 15 · George BetancesFriends took us here today while on vacation. Loved their Ceasar salad as well as their pizzas, especially the one with truffles on it. We ordered 4 pizzas today. Their pizzas were packed with flavors, had crispy thin crust and just absolutely delicious. Their waiters were also very friendly and attentive. If I get the chance, I would come back again!
August 19 · Carolyn Y (Cypianist)Stopped by this amazing pizza spot in Beacon during a motorcycle ride. Service was super friendly and the layout of the restaurant was open and modern. The pies pictured were delicious to the point where we ordered two more just to try different items. Can’t wait to plan our next ride up and enjoy some more pies.
May 07 · Jose AlmejoArguably the best pizza in the Hudson Valley. Neapolitan and very delicate, yet still having good crisp. Toppings are good to very good, sauce is bright and fresh but it's missing some flavor. Staff were friendly. The atmosphere feels like a Best Western mixed with a Red Robin. Very bad and generic.
