★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A raucous bar with some solid craft beer and some of the best bar food in Brooklyn. This is kind of a party bar in Greenpoint where you can get decent craft beers and hang out, make some friends, and enjoy the bustling atmosphere. The Gotham social burger food is exceptional and I’ll be back to try more things.
May 27 · Blake RasmussenCool place to hangout with friends and enjoy locally brewed beer! What's cool about this place is the fact they make their own beer and ciders - the choices are great in terms of variety (pilsner, IPA, ale, lager, stout, cider) and as well in terms of sizes (starting from 5 oz = approx. 150 ml all the way to the larger jugs), so everyone finds something to their liking. However I missed a tasting menu option, to simply select several small sized beers to try. That would be such a cool addition to the menu! When it came to food I was not particularly happy, not because of the selection, but because of the prices - they are on a higher note and as an example $24 for fish and chips seemed a bit too steep (even though the portion looked big). So as a beer snack I had chili in a cup covered with cheese, which was absolutely perfect and as a dessert key lime pie - delicious, rich, tasty and not too sweet. The atmosphere was cool and hip, mostly filled with a younger crowd. When it got busy later in the afternoon it also got extremely loud, to the point we could not hear each other talk. It became uncomfortable at some point. I would also recommend an advanced reservation with a possibility to sit outside in one of the street seating areas. Service was great, friendly and attentive.Paid by card. Visited in March 2023.
March 20 · Pavel D.I really enjoyed this brewery. The beer choices were great and the service was friendly. The food menu was a bit limited, like most breweries, but the quality was very good. The smash burger was a hit with our table.A fun place to do some weekend day drinking with friends!
June 26 · John CoulsonMet up with an acquaintance for a snack and a drink - located in a quiet neighborhood and the server was very quick on his feet and we could not complain of the service. Pub food was ok and they ran out of the one bottle of white wine offered but it was ok. An unpleasant situation regarding overcharging was sorted out via email in a day by their customer care team - good to note their sensitivity to their customers.
July 08 · David FenechLively and just a great crowd for cheap beers and small eats. Self sitting and super casual.Share indoor sitting with Gotham Social so it’s a Win-Win situation.
