Stopped in here briefly as I was in the area and wanted to try something I can't find as easily elsewhere. Took me a minute to understand the menu, but one of the ladies was very helpful and spoke English and helped me pick out some items to order. It was clear the other lady spoke no English.Ended up with Pastelon de Platano with rice and a side of sweet plantains.Also ended up with some really amazing potato salad from their mini fridge as well as some pineapple juice.I'd skip the juice next time, but the other food was really good. I'll have to study the menu for my next visit.

Loved my visit here. As a Dominican, I felt well at home. The food looks good and tastes just as good.I would recommend for anyone looking for a good Spanish or dominican food.

They opened up a new location at 348 E. 149th Bronx, NY. TERRIBLE.Worst food in my life, I couldn't even finish it the rice was so dry. Vegetables dry and sweet and sour chicken was okay but after tasting the rice, I didnt trust it.Ordered a Coconut drink, which was okay. Service was okay.To top off my horrible food, which I really couldn't finish. Two plates and two drinks came out to $31......no words.

I ordered the roast chicken lunch special it was 11 dollars and the chicken was SUPER dry and tasted old. The rice and beans was basic and it came with a salad and soda which were the best part of the whole meal. I was EXTREMELY disappointed.
