★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were walking around the neighborhood last fall and found this cute little coffee chop on the corner. We had a very nice cup of Americano and a small pastry. Small seating area but very comfortable. Lots of light from the big corner window. The lady who took our order was very friendly.A nice experience and we will definitely stop here again when we are in the neighborhood.
February 09 · THE EXPLORERSo due to the nature of my job, I travel a lot through new York. I also enjoy food and trying different things and it just so happened I decided to stop into Vive La Crepe after work to try it out.The crepes are delicious , I personally had the provence crepe and I really like how it was a balance of sweet and savory. It hit just the spot. I like that all the ingredients were fresh. The time it took to cook wasn't that long at all considering they are made to order.I also had a mandarin cardamom refresher and it was great too. It was refreshing and sweet without it tasting sugary and they really do add fresh blue berries into the drink (yes I took the time to fish out the blue berries to eat them. The location itself is a bit on the small side but the ambiance is great for quiet vibes and intimate moments. I recommend anyone looking for a tasty snack to step in and try it out, I know I'm coming back for sure
July 12 · Fernando ValeraSuper rude and disrespectful, My friend & I said excuse me 9 times & a guy with earrings & a blue cap literally looked at us & ignored us. We were standing right in front of him, so it doesn’t make sense unless he was deaf. The lady at the register was talking our order like we are second class citizens & they had no ingredients in stock + the coffee tasted burnt & was half full
April 30 · Inshall Abid MehmoodService was average and buckwheat crepe was below average. I would not go back. Most concerning is that one of the workers touching food items was digging in his nose and not washing his hands, I watched him for a several minutes after I ate my crepe. It's disheartening. This was the stocky /shorter man doing this, one time he used a tissue but 3-4 times he used his fingers. The taller man was good and put on gloves and left his nose alone. I think it would beneficial for everyone at this establishment to have a seminar on proper hygiene.
June 21 · TJ E.The service was nice. The venue is designed with a sit-down option to enjoy food with proper tableware. However, my order was served in takeaway packaging. I also paid nearly $20 for one tea (bag, nothing fancy) and one crepe with jam which was undercooked and missing a paid-for ingredient. Staff kindly offered to remake it, but I had already eaten some and felt awkward asking for a refund. I was also charged one dollar extra for the ingredient that was missing, compared to the price listed on the board. Unfortunately, despite the good idea for this type of food, I don’t plan to return.
