★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Irish pub LOL, nothing of the sort.No Irish music, no Irish food.Guinness cans at the hotel were better.Had a Pint and they didn’t even rinse the glass for the second. Never felt so unwelcome.
July 19 · Christopher RoserLiterally just got to NYC by bus and was hungry and thirsty.Remembered Walter's Cottage as I walked by it before when I was in NYC.I thought their draft beer selection would be much better than it is now. Kinda basic and average selection.I got these buffalo wings which had good flavor and hit the spot. The bartender/waitress (Max) was friendly and nice.
September 16 · David George JohnsonBar tender charged me $15 for a Barcardi and Coke. She poured ice first and then sprayed coke. Finally, she poured less than once of rum in the soda concoction. She charged me $15 which I gave her a Ten and Five dollar bills. I’ve been many times at Walter’s Cottage and never charged $15 dollars. Ok I paid. I then asked for a receipt which she produced a receipt that charged $12 for a gossling drink which I never ordered. Then her boyfriend sitting at the bar jumped in and started to call me a cheapskate. When it became an argumentative she asked would I like a refund. I said yes, and got back $12 and then was asked to leave and not come back. I said NO PROBLEM! I was then pushed outside where her boyfriend continue to challenge me. Seriously, never going back. Max used to be the best bartender there. Now just thieves. Sad.
January 05 · Jazz BassCool little bar. My wife and I stopped while on vacation, walking past and needing a drink before our next stop. Friendly bartender, cold beer, game on the tv, nice atmosphere, decent bar food. What more could you want!
August 29 · RenDropped in on Sunday after a show. What a great find! Bartender Paige was super friendly & attentive. Prices were refreshingly reasonable. Food menu was limited but good, seems like all they have is a fryer but I think they could have a few more items to throw into it. Highly recommend!
