★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We visited WatchHouse 5th Ave during our NYC trip and loved everything about it. The place has a really clean, modern design, it feels calm and inviting as soon as you walk in. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a relaxing atmosphere, even though it's right in the middle of busy Fifth Avenue. We ordered coffee and a chocolate croissant, and both were excellent. The coffee was smooth and rich — exactly what we needed to start the day. The chocolate croissant was fresh, perfectly flaky on the outside, soft on the inside, and had just the right amount of chocolate. Simple, but really well done. What made the experience even better was the staff — they were super friendly, helpful, and professional. You don’t always get that kind of warm service in the city, but the team here made us feel welcome without being over the top. This spot is perfect whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or taking a moment to slow down and enjoy your drink. We'll definitely be coming back next time we’re in New York!
June 15 · Abo FaisalCroissants are amazing. Coffee was really good too. Flavors are great. I just think it’s too pricey. $6 for a butter croissant is insane!! Also it’s hard to find a seating during peak hours, they do have space for more seating.
July 28 · Maria Fernanda ManchenoWatchHouse just made my week. I walked in on a mission for a real light roast and found their Ethiopian on bar—bright ginger, silky milk-chocolate, and a pop of candied apple that kept me grinning through the whole cup. Milk was cool and velvety, letting every fruity note shine. The space feels like a design magazine come to life: tall windows, pale wood, and plenty of cushy seats where you can settle in and lose track of time. Pastries looked ridiculously good, all golden layers and glossy glazes begging for a return visit. With only two WatchHouse outposts in New York, snagging this UK favorite feels like discovering a secret. If you’re hunting for nuanced coffee in a spot that’s equal parts chic and comfortable…hit up WatchHouse.
August 01 · MaryamWatchHouse is a vibe 🙌🏼 Stopped in for coffee and, wow the batch was absolute cracker! Smooth, balanced, and full of flavour. Service was spot-on too; the team really knows their stuff and makes you feel right at home. Definitely one of those spots I’d come back to for both the coffee and the atmosphere.
August 28 · ClaudineA sleek, modern café with a calm vibe and excellent chocolate croissants—light, flaky, and just the right touch of sweet. The pastry alone is worth the stop. The coffee was solid, but if you’re someone who prefers heavy cream, take note: they only offer half & half. Not a dealbreaker, but a bit of a bummer for cream lovers.Overall, a stylish spot with great pastries and a quiet place to recharge—just wish they had a little more cream in their coffee game.
