★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When you spend your money on buying food from a restaurant or take out, it's important to know what kind of people are cooking and serving your food. I'm leaving this review because I visit this food hall about 1-2 times a week. I've eaten here a few times and the food is. . . okay. Out of all the delicious food at this court, there are better options worth your money. But the main reason of this review, is today I visited Mr Lins, and while I didn't buy lunch this time, I needed a fork and asked kindly if they had an extra fork or pair of chopsticks. The woman behind the counter, standing in front of a pile of plastic forks and cheap wooden chopsticks, replied, "no. For customers only."You can say this is fair response, but it's worth noting that I don't think any business is worth supporting that wouldn't help someone out in such a small way, and to be rude about it at that.I went over to wok fusion kitchen, and they gladly gave me a fork with no hesitation. I guess this is more a review for the sake of character only, but worth noting and definitely worth thinking about when choosing a business to support.
September 18 · Heather RumseyI’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and tasty lunch for good value. I got the soy sauce chicken rice bowl, which was simple but very well-prepared — juicy, succulent and flavorful chicken, very fresh vegetables, and half a boiled egg over a bed of white rice, that’s complemented well by the scallion condiment they provide on the side. It also comes with a small dessert bun (either red bean or egg custard) which was the perfect way to round out the meal. And it was a decent price considering all the food and the quality of the meal!
August 16 · Louie BenkoilI absolutely adore the pork dumplings here! 🥰✿ It’s a cozy little spot right in front of Trader Joe’s, where you’ll find the sweetest ladies—both young and old—taking your orders. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy more delicious dumplings!
December 30 · Chaithawat DongcharoaenDelicious food. I got the roast chicken over rice. The bun included is a sweet bun. So dinner and a dessert. The sauce included was some ginger, lemongrass? oil concoction that I drizzled over the veg. No soy sauce included but it's not like it was needed anyway. Simple but delicious and filling.
September 17 · Janeece LamadieuWe've been coming for years and love this place and their rice noodle soups! Everyone is so nice and they have the best prices in Dekalb market! I recommend the fire meat (Huo Rou) with fishball rice noodle soup! Find them in the back by trader joes!
