40/40 Club Introduce
New Yorkers know that when it comes to sports, entertainment, and dining, quality is paramount. Located within one of Brooklyn’s premier entertainment venues, the 40/40 Club is a destination that perfectly blends the excitement of a high-energy sports bar with the sophistication of an upscale American restaurant. This location, situated inside the Barclays Center, provides a unique and premium experience for fans, diners, and those looking for an exclusive event space. Founded by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and partner Juan Perez, the club is a celebrated extension of the original concept, named after the prestigious and rare achievement in Major League Baseball—hitting 40 home runs and stealing 40 bases in a single season. This high standard of excellence is clearly reflected in the ambiance, service, and menu offered to every guest.
Far from a typical concession stand, the 40/40 Club at Barclays Center is a full-service, American restaurant that has become an institution for the Brooklyn crowd. It provides an elevated setting that is both casual and trendy, making it an ideal gathering spot for groups before, during, or after a major event, such as a Brooklyn Nets game or a concert. The space is thoughtfully designed to capture an "urban chic" aesthetic, featuring luxurious decor and an impressive collection of sports memorabilia. This focus on luxury and a top-tier atmosphere ensures a memorable visit, whether you are stopping by for a quick drink or a full-course dining experience. The blending of a classic sports bar environment with high-end lounge appeal truly sets the 40/40 Club apart in the New York dining landscape.
The menu reflects traditional American sports bar cuisine but executed with an upscale twist. Diners can expect popular classics that are refined and flavorful, moving beyond typical stadium food. From signature wings to mouth-watering entrees, the culinary experience here complements the vibrant surroundings. Customers frequently praise the quality of the food and the efficiency of the team, highlighting the commitment to Fast service. Beyond the food, the bar features an impressive beverage program, designed to cater to all tastes, including a Great beer selection, craft cocktails, and premium spirits. This comprehensive approach to food and drink secures its place as a top-tier American restaurant within the heart of Brooklyn.
The atmosphere is lively and inviting, often described as casual yet trendy, making guests feel comfortable while still enjoying a premier experience. It’s particularly suited for Groups looking to socialize and enjoy a sporting event together. While some reviews mention that certain wristband promotions do not include food and that a few seats may have limited arena views, the general consensus points to an overall positive experience, especially for those utilizing the space for pre-game drinks or a dedicated buffet dinner experience. The quality of the food, the upscale setting, and the unique location combine to make the 40/40 Club a standout choice for local patrons and visitors alike.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 140/40 club put a few nice touches that made our night great. The wrist bands come with 2 free drinks however because I chose Red Bull, they made us use both tickets without our knowledge prior. There is no food available with the regular wristbands.
January 13 · SabrinaThis is a nice place to grab a drink at the bar before the game. You can also have a buffet dinner here. Few seats have a view of the arena.
January 24 · Oleg KurbatskiyKnicks Tape! Sat at the bar for Knicks playoff game to eliminate Cleveland bartenders were friendly while working in a fast pace environment definitely a challenge but they pulled it off it was my first time there and the highlight is probably the wings!! Legit the best wings I’ve had in a while I had the dry rub mild wings and I wish every time I had wings they were like this great job
May 03 · Patrick MorganDinner was very good , Sat at the bar and ate service was excellent..
March 02 · Jonquel NYCMe & my wife went on Valentine's Day to 40/40 in Brooklyn for the Nas & Maxwell concert. I'll speak on the experience as a whole leading up to the concert, as we had reservations & we traveled from Ohio for this event. We waited for 30 minutes outside of Barclays before we could enter the building. he employees said it was due to not having security there, which is odd considering the caliber of place this is supposed to be. Bear in mind, it was about 10 degrees outside in Brooklyn. After we were in, we had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. I assume everything wasn't in place yet.We were the 1st people there and we were sat towards the back of the room in these high chairs. We're not short people, but not over 6 ft either lol. We were treated to a buffet of different cuisines. Some were outstanding, like the short ribs, the sweet potato hash & the beef brisket. Others were not... such as the hamburgers which were only cooked medium & the deserts all tasted like they came from a box. We had 2 courses, and by that time it was time for the show. Even though it sounds not bad, our server was OK and made sure our needs were met.For the amount that we paid, we expected a higher degree of standard. My wife eats at a variety restaurants all of the time that are 4 star, while I just like food. To both of us, this was mediocre. Even though it's a sports bar setting, on Valentine's Day, people really expect an A-Game even if the food is just a buffet. It was our first visit to New York state for the holiday, and we had way better food in Harlem that was like $6 a pound...2 days earlier that we still remembered. If this was a regular sports bar, I wouldn't mind it, but for the price there are more options that have better food AND trump the 40/40 in comparison with service and price. The concert was great, btw! I really hope that these guys step up their game, it can be an outstanding restaurant if it lives up to its expectations for future events.
