★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Tried the Pinocchio and it was phenomenal fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. The young gentlemen working there were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Worth every penny!
August 12 · Cecilia A.If you're craving a sandwich in the Soho area, this is the spot. Their Italian sandwiches are absolutely amazing — everything is freshly sliced and made to order. You really can’t go wrong here.
May 01 · Amir OhanaThe sandwiches are good, but the friend who brought me there billed them as “some of the best ever”, which they were not. We got four sandwiches and I tried each one. Maybe my expectations were too high. The tuna sandwich especially was decidedly mid. Great place to grab lunch, and I love the ambiance, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
September 18 · Benjamin ManneThis place serves Italian sandwiches. Their sandwiches are pretty pricey. Based on the bread you choose for your sandwich, it'll cost btw $1-$3 more than the price listed. I ordered Marina ($14) on Stirato bread (+2) with Eggplant as extra (+2) which has smoked chicken breast and was expected to have a nice piece of meat but it was pretty much some cold cut. The sun-dried tomato was tough and very chewy. Mozzarella cheese is not of great quality. $18 for a cold-cut sandwich!! Not worth it.
February 15 · Fabiola Zoxie FontaineI lived on Sullivan Street in the late 1990’s when Alidoro was known as Melampo. The sandwich’s were legendary then and they remain equally as good today. Every sandwich is made to order with fresh cut ingredients. The focaccia and semolina breads are so fresh and delicious along with sun dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and a great selection of cured Italian meats sliced to order. Alidoro can’t be beat in my opinion and that’s after 20 consistent years of enjoying these amazing sandwiches!
