★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The desserts at Dominique Ansel Bakery were very tasty, and everything we tried was really good. There was a long line, but it was worth the wait. Definitely a spot to visit at least once if you’re in New York!
September 15 · Rushi JainDominique Ansel Bakery in Soho continues to live up to the hype. I popped in for a quick treat and left completely delighted. The almond croissant had just come out of the oven about an hour earlier and was honestly perfection—crispy on the outside, delicately layered, and filled with rich almond paste that wasn’t overly sweet. Every bite had that just-right balance of texture and flavor.A special shoutout to Chapel, who went above and beyond. I mentioned loving the extra toasted almond bits that fall off the top, and without missing a beat, she added a handful to my bag. That small, thoughtful gesture made my visit feel personal and warm. Great pastries, even better service—I’ll definitely be back.
July 30 · MaryamThis Bakery was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New York! Crumpets were phenomenal, I ordered the special that had a strawberry cream filling (that I absolutely loved!) but there’s plenty of options available and they all look delicious. Coffee was great as well and they had veggie milks available. Perfect place for a to go order, but definitely worth staying for a while as the place is really cozy and beautiful.
June 08 · Nina VicinoAt Dominique Ansel Bakery, the Frozen S’more is a must-try if you like sweets. The marshmallow is perfectly sweet and lightly crisp on the outside, with creamy vanilla ice cream inside, all wrapped in a thin layer of chocolate. Absolutely delicious!
September 17 · STEPHY LEUNGFair but nothing to write home about. The famed DKA (Dominique Kouign Amann) pales in comparison to the ones at La Maison d'lsabelle of Paris which won best croissant in Paris of 2018. The flavor of the DKA has a balanced caramel sweetness. However, the dough lacks enough butter and the shape prevents it from being crispy all across the outside, it's not a flat circle but poofy. The cronut is fun (although the icing makes it too sweet) and the watermelon sorbet refreshing.Service is professional. The atmosphere in the garden is especially airy.
