The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. Every plate felt like a work of art — both in taste and presentation. The atmosphere was calm yet vibrant, making it perfect for a special occasion or simply treating yourself to an exceptional dining experience.Highly recommend aRoqa to anyone looking to indulge in exquisite Indian cuisine. September 07 · Rikin GajjarDining at aRoqa in Chelsea was an absolute pleasure and easily one of the highlights of my trip. We arrived early for dinner and were seated outside, which made for a relaxed and comfortable start to the evening. Since the restaurant was just gearing up for the dinner rush, the service was impeccable warm, attentive, and personal without ever being rushed. It truly set the tone for what turned out to be a remarkable dining experience. We began with the pani puri, which was not only delicious but also a delightful experience. Served with mint water in a charming little teapot, it was interactive and fun, setting the stage for a meal full of creativity and thoughtfulness. The Char-Grilled Paneer Cheese Tikka followed and was a standout starter, perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, and beautifully presented.Every dish we tried reflected both care and artistry, with flavors that were bold yet refined. The culinary creativity really shined through with the Baked Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée, a dessert that flawlessly blended French technique with Indian tradition. It was rich, indulgent, and inventive: a true masterpiece that left us talking about it long after. While we dined outdoors, a quick look inside revealed a space that was just as impressive, with its elegant and contemporary design adding to the restaurant’s charm.Overall, aRoqa delivers not just a meal, but a thoughtful experience. With stellar service, inventive dishes, and a stylish setting, it’s an easy 5/5 recommendation.
September 02 · Drew PatelWe celebrated a birthday brunch and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the warm welcome to the exceptional service, every detail was thoughtfully executed. Chef Ajay and his team prepared a delicious, flavorful meal that exceeded our expectations, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with taste. The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, making it a truly memorable occasion. We’ll definitely be returning for dinner to enjoy more of this incredible dining experience!
February 23 · J NWe had an amazing dinner at Aroqa recently. The restaurant is upscale Indian dining with a modern interior and we were very happy with the portions and pricing was on point. Some of the dishes that we loved were the lamb chops which just melted in your mouth and the Amritsari fish for the apps, not to forget the pani puris served so elegantly. The chicken barara named after the famous lawyer was one of our favorites. The naan was fresh and soft not thick and chewy,.the lister masala was a table favorite!A shout out to the bartender for great drinks and the mocktailWe topped it off with the crème brûlée gulabjamun and the rasmalai which was exceptional.I suggest going with a group of people so you can taste everything!! Definitely a good value for your money.
April 07 · Chetna SinghIf you are up for trying a contemporary twist on Indian food, then Aroqa is the place for you. The food is wonderful. What surprised me was the lamb. I don't particularly care for lamb because it is gamey to me. But here at Aroqa -- it was not! The first place I've had lamb where I truly enjoyed it. All the dishes had great flavor. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it.
