September 08 · the bbI got to Asano around 11AM and loved the vibe. I sat inside the cafe for the first 20 minutes and then sat out front enjoying the weather for the next hour. I saw friends meeting for coffee (plenty of tables), people working from laptops (there's good WiFi!), a mom bringing her baby with her for her morning coffee, and people reading and enjoying the quiet ambiance.I love the idea of turning a dinner place into a morning cafe, and I love that there's a way now for me to support my favorite local restaurants while getting my morning caffeine with high-quality matcha. I will be a regular going forward!
September 19 · Aoi SenjuFinally a decent coffee place near Q on 86th! Great spot - coffee by the day, Italian restaurant by the night, and even better coffee. And they do loyalty stamps
June 19 · Kriti SharanMatcha was goodLatte is okSesame croissant - far too oily - didn’t like itMiso bun - okAll these people making call, zoom, working there is terrible. It really irritated us.Overall this was quite pricey for something just medium/ok.We will not come back.
July 25 · charlene schoenherLovely cafe concept inside of an existing restaurant. They're open during the day and serve delicious pastries and coffee. Stop by in the morning and try the espresso!
August 05 · Jeff WThose pastries!!!! Asano is so beautiful - the exact feeling you want to have when hanging out in a cafe during the day. As a freelancer, I often work in coffee shops that feel cluttered and dark - so the concept of running a coffee shop inside of a bright, open restaurant during the daytime is a DREAM for folks like me. The signature lattes are the most interesting espresso drinks I've ever had - no exaggeration. I will be returning often!
