★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stumbled upon Ask Alita and could not be more happy about it. Alita was behind the bar and quickly became someone I could see myself being best friends with. Kind, warm, inviting, and attentive. I had the arugula salad - it was perfectly simple and delicious. This should be a neighborhood staple for anyone who lives nearby!
June 15 · Myra SaboleskySuch a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Great wine selection—with bottles a little off the beaten path, but familiar enough to not take you too far outside your comfort zone. The staff are very knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect pairing for any of their “snacks.” Speaking of, the food is fantastic. Not a full-blown restaurant (hence “snacks”), but a perfect assortment of wine bar staples—along with some unexpected items; the smoked mussels in pesto and olive oil might have been the best mussels I’ve ever had. The meat and cheese plates were also very good. Add all of this on top of the cozy, comfy, cute atmosphere, and you get an amazing, classic wine bar (which Ridgewood has sorely needed for a while).

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, always ready to help you select the perfect wine to pair with their carefully curated selection of cheeses and meats. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just getting into it, they'll guide you to something you'll love. Plus, their soup of the day is always a treat—perfect for warming up on a chilly evening.
January 17 · Katie ValerioI tried the mussels, tomato prosciutto, the cheese and meat plate, and this fresh, flavorful salad—it was all fantastic. As for how much wine I had… let’s just say it was more than a little, but hey, it was worth it! The cozy atmosphere and great food make this spot a new favorite. Highly recommend!
November 08 · Monique CruzAlita is one of the most personable people I have ever met. She has been a breath of fresh air and has truly given something new and vibrant to the neighborhood. I hope this place continues to flourish and grow. 🩷
