★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Haven't been here since middle school, and can say that after 8 years Astoria Bagel Shop still holds up. Excellent quality as always, having fresh bagels always ready. Truly a great experience and the people running the shop are a joy to talk to. Even brought a cousin from out of state and she agreed that this is the best bagel shop around. The only thing that has actually changed about this is the price which is understandable in this current economy. Come to Astoria Bagel Shop ASAP.
September 02 · FarisI didnt feel like getting bk bagels today and Im glad I tried this place out. The place is calm, clean and ample. These bagels are very fresh, worth the walk from 30th ave, soft inside and crunchy outside. My coffee was lukewarm but they were prompt to heat it up. Coffee is like a medium dark roast- just right, I always get it without sugar. My guests said service looked distracted but it could be because it was 2pm on a sunday and working service is tiring specially if there since early hours. AnywaysI definitely recommend this place
August 31 · David HGood bagels but god bless you if you want it toasted and it just “came out the oven” you are on your own. Don’t bother asking you will be shown the door. If you ever watched Seinfeld this is the soup guys equivalent so if you want the proper experience go for it again the bagels are good.So food is not the issue but person in charge runs a tight ship you feel you are at boot camp and one wrong word and you will be in time out. They are a bit pricey as well.
September 02 · Singh MannyThese are the absolute best bagels I've ever had, hands down. Lived in the city all my life and had bagels from all over, no place beats these. I really mean it!The woman who owns the place and sometimes serves is incredibly rude - oh well! Everyone else is friendly. There is really limited "seating" and tables, mostly you're meant to order and go.Menu is limited, just bagels, cream cheese spreads, butter & lox. Coffee too and some drinks in fridges. Cash only, they have an ATM.Go in and try the bagels, especially when they're fresh and warm. You won't regret it!!!
June 06 · Stylianos KarolidisBest bagels in Astoria. Hot and fresh. Important to know it is a cash only establishment and the menu offerings (think sandwiches and extras) are minimal and limited. However, the limited items offered are exceptional and done well.
