★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent food!!! Great cashier!!! I Google this place to see who has the best Jamaican food, and this place did not disappoint. The OX tails was delicious and awesome. It was definitely worth the drive. They definitely give you a generous portion, so you won't feel you got cheated out of meal. I definitely recommend this place.
July 06 · Tommie Gaston JrSo I randomly stumbled upon this Jamaican restaurant in the middle of Jackson Heights which was totally unexpected but I am so glad I did because wow! The oxtail plate that I had has to be some of the best oxtail I've ever had! It was so tender and flavorful that it was literally falling off of the bone. I could cut and eat it with a spoon. She also gave me a nice healthy serving of oxtail gravy as well to go on my rice and veggies which I love! The outside of the place could definitely use some help since the signage is significantly faded so it's easy to miss the restaurant if you're not looking for it. The girl behind the counter was also super helpful and courteous which was very refreshing and goes against the negative stereotypes of carribean customer service. Overall, I will definitely be back for more!
March 22 · Stephane BeraudFrom the outside we were hesitant to go in but we went in and were so happy we did.The Stew Chicken was so good that I couldn’t get a picture of it. The Jerk Chicken was good and spicy. The lady that served us was very nice and gave us what she had left. They only have the stew chicken and jerk chicken which I’m not complaining it they were both amazing. We did wanna try the Mac and cheese which was sold out.We got larges for both. It came with veggies and rice. Spent like $16.50 per plate. It tasted like a home cooked meal made with love and great seasoning! Whoever made it did an excellent job.
January 18 · Jasmin CostaServer was so sweet and the food was really good!Got curry goat and hubby got curry shrimp next good
July 01 · Sabrina DestinI gave this place five stars for atmosphere because it really is your classic hole in the wall Jamaican food spot in New York CityI've never had anything bad from here my only criticism is that sometimes their snapper fish can be too spicy and they almost never have sweet plantains. One time I bought an expired dessert which was the last time I've ever tried their desserts. But that was many many years ago. The plates can be very messy especially when you add gravy so make sure you are ready to eat it on a plate or something stable. Thier beef patties are probably the closest thing that I've had to Jamaican beef patties from the islands
