What is Worth Choosing
For a New York diner looking for an authentic and satisfying Caribbean meal, B&B Flavors of the Caribbean offers several standout reasons to choose this local favorite. The sheer breadth of the menu, particularly its deep dive into Guyanese and regional Caribbean fare, is a significant draw. While some customers may have had mixed experiences, the enthusiasm from patrons who praise specific dishes—like the 'homemade Guyanese fried rice' and the 'white pudding'—suggests that discovering the specialties here is well worth the visit.
One of the top reasons to choose this spot is the availability of specific, often hard-to-find dishes. The slow-cooked Oxtail at $16.95 is a staple of Caribbean comfort food, known for its rich flavor and fall-off-the-bone tenderness, and is always a popular choice. Similarly, the Curry Duck ($16.95) is a specialty that is highly sought after by those familiar with Guyanese cuisine, representing a more unique and celebratory flavor profile compared to more common curries. These main entrees, alongside the flaky Paratha/Oil Roti ($3.00), offer a true taste of the traditional home cooking that this region is famous for.
Furthermore, the early morning Breakfast options provide a uniquely Caribbean start to the day for New Yorkers. Dishes like Aloo Choka and Roti or the Bake and Saltfish are perfect for those wanting to venture beyond standard American breakfast fare and enjoy a taste of the islands before the workday begins. The very reasonable pricing across the menu, with many satisfying dishes and sides available for under $10, positions B&B Flavors of the Caribbean as an excellent value proposition for a budget-conscious city known for its high dining costs.
Finally, the restaurant's commitment to offering quick service through a variety of methods—delivery, takeout, and curbside pickup—makes it an exceptionally convenient choice for busy New Yorkers. Whether you're a local in Ozone Park or are traveling specifically to the 'Little Guyana' area of Queens for a food tour, B&B Flavors of the Caribbean provides a casual, satisfying, and authentically flavored dining experience that contributes significantly to the city's rich tapestry of world cuisine. For a truly deep dive into the delicious, comforting flavors of the Caribbean, particularly the unique tastes of Guyanese cooking, this Queens restaurant is a mandatory stop.
In summary, B&B Flavors of the Caribbean serves as an essential stop for anyone in the New York area seeking authentic Caribbean flavors in a casual, community-focused setting. The deep menu of traditional dishes, combined with convenient service options, cements its status as a local favorite in the Queens food scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Before visiting this restaurant, I read the reviews on Google and I never got up to go one day. I was passing by and I decided to go in and check them out first of all if you were looking for like homemade Guyanese fried rice then definitely go there. It’s so yummy. It’s a little on the spice side but very yummy. I also tried the bubble tea and it was amazing for a small restaurant, the white pudding is also very good and fresh. Definitely check them out.
November 10 · Melanie RamlallI was served spoiled food at this restaurant, and the owner couldn’t even make it right.I went back and explained my situation. I further explained that I was a regular returning customer. I asked what could be done to make it right, and the owner straight out said “nothing”.It’s sad to see a local business like this lose a customer due to a lack of knowledge in customer service. For these reasons, I do not recommend anyone to this establishment!!
February 11 · Ruby BoodramVery tasty food. I loved the flavors and the service was outstanding. There's not too much space to eat in the restaurant, so take that into account. I love spicy food and my wife and kid don't, so we asked if the food was spicy and we were told no, but it was very spicy (I guess it's a subjective topic 😅) I do recommend the food here.
July 10 · Jair ReinaThis place was number 1 on my list to try and I wasn’t disappointed. The food the service everything was great. The lamb chops were amazing along with the bubble tea. I would recommend this place to everyone
April 06 · Nadera Sharrasif u own a restaurant aren’t u suppose to cook fresh food and not give customers food that’s probably been there for couples days. I ordered on uber eats and the food i received was SPOILED. It smelled so bad and was so slimy. Then i was told to go on uber eats and get my money back. IF YOU GAVE ME SPOILED SLIMY FOOD WHAT DOES UBER HAVE TO DO WIT IT? that’s literally food poison in a box. like come on, do better wit the fresh food and customer service.ALSO i was told when i went to the store they were close to closing time and can’t do nothing about it. u mean u guys close at 9pm i was there 45 minutes before closing time….mhmmmm
