Authentic Jamaican Comfort Food: The restaurant specializes in classic Jamaican dishes that are known for being comforting and deeply flavorful. Their menu focuses on staples that are beloved in Jamaican culture, ensuring that every dish—from the savory oxtail to the spicy jerk chicken—is prepared with traditional techniques and authentic ingredients. This commitment to authenticity is a major draw for customers seeking a genuine taste of the Caribbean.
Small Plates and Generous Portions: The menu includes options like "small oxtail," which is a big plus for many customers. This allows people to enjoy a smaller, more manageable portion of a beloved dish, which isn't always offered at other Jamaican restaurants. This flexibility, along with the generous portions of their regular meals, ensures customers get exactly what they're looking for.
Dining Options for Any Time of Day: Back Home is a great choice for both lunch and dinner. Whether you need a satisfying midday meal to power through your day or a delicious, hearty dinner to wind down, their menu has you covered. Customer-Focused Gestures: A review mentioned receiving extra items with their order, such as beef patties and johnny cake, as a thoughtful courtesy. While this may not be a regular occurrence, it highlights a dedication to customer satisfaction and a friendly approach that makes patrons feel valued and appreciated. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Tried the food via Ubereats. It was pretty good but the jerk was a little too spicy however, the rice and peas was amazing. I ordered a medium Jerk lunch and they put 2 extra beef patties and johnny cake in my bag. That was a nice courtesy. Not sure if that happened because I ordered close to closing time but I appreciate the gesture. I’ll probably order again to try the oxtail
April 28 · MarshaDelicious food. They have small oxtail. A lot of other jamaican restaurants don’t offer this. The menus move fast so learn to read fast.
February 17 · Young koI ordered the curry goat meal off uber eats for delivery. As I was eating I realized something wasn’t chewable, as I took it out my mouth I discovered it was plastic. I’m mortified, as this is a large piece of plastic and I could of choked it I didn’t spit it out to analyze what it was.

September 18 · Nicole KellyBE VERY CAREFUL! I Ordered a chicken pasta with plaintain. The lady told me the pasta is made after I place the order, which had me thinking it was going to be fresh. It was well seasoned but I could tell the chicken was old and so was the pasta! The next day I couldnt even keep water down! I was throwing everything up! for 2 days my stomach was uneasy. The customer service sucks and I was warned multiple times about this place but you live and you learn.
