As a fundamental part of the local commerce in the **11421** zip code, the Bakery aims to provide standard bakery items to patrons looking for a fast, accessible option for their pastry needs. In New York City, local bakeries are often relied upon for last-minute treats, celebratory items, or just a simple sweet indulgence to accompany a morning coffee or an afternoon break. The presence of this business reflects the community's need for easily accessible baked goods within walking or a short driving distance.
The product focus appears to be on familiar items such as basic pastries and handheld desserts, catering to a general audience. However, it is important for prospective patrons to note that recent customer feedback has indicated significant concerns regarding the quality and freshness of certain products. Specifically, multiple reports have described baked goods like **doughnuts and cupcakes** as being "hard as a brick" and "not fresh," leading to issues with edibility and requests for refunds that were reportedly denied. This information is critical for managing expectations before visiting. Patrons are encouraged to exercise caution and potentially inquire about product freshness at the time of purchase.

## What is worth choosing
Choosing this local **Bakery** on 76th Street is primarily about **location convenience** for New Yorkers residing in the immediate vicinity of **Jamaica, Queens (11421)**. As a neighborhood establishment, it offers the ease of obtaining common baked goods—like **doughnuts** and **cupcakes**—without having to travel to a larger, more distant commercial center. This hyper-local accessibility is often a significant factor for residents managing busy schedules or lacking convenient transportation options.
However, based on the highly consistent and strongly negative customer feedback, potential patrons should approach this business with extreme caution. Multiple customer reviews explicitly state that products are not fresh and are "hard as a brick," rendering them inedible. Furthermore, the reported unwillingness of the management to offer a refund or replacement for bad product, even when presented with the evidence, is a serious operational concern that impacts the overall customer service experience and trust.
Therefore, while the physical location is undeniably convenient for residents on 76th Street and surrounding areas, the fundamental product quality and customer service experience described by existing patrons suggest that this bakery should only be considered for its sheer proximity. For New Yorkers prioritizing guaranteed **freshness** and reliable **customer satisfaction**, seeking bakery needs elsewhere in the wider **Queens** area, or taking the time to travel to a more established venue, would be a strongly advisable course of action. The choice to purchase from this establishment must be weighed against the explicit warnings from the local community about product quality and the business's policy on handling defective goods.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If I could I would give a zero star. I bought two doughnuts and a cupcake from here. They were put into a paper bag and when I got home to give them to my kids I found that they were hard as a brick and not edible at all. I go back to them to ask for a refund for the product and they refuse a refund for a bad product. I even brought them the items so they can feel them as well to prove that I wasn't lying and they still refused to refund or even replace the items. I will never come back here. I wouldn't recommend this place for any bakery needs.

April 28 · Belinda GoodwinI bought the expired Polish bread, I really wanted to drink it, I get home and open the bitter Polish bread, I see the expiration date it expired on June 18th and I bought it on June 17th it was already expired but if they have it in a place of sale it is because it is a good product but it was no longer useful the breads all burnt and stiff I have bought breads but they are always soft they have lasted me up to a week and they maintain their softness but these breads that have been sold to me are stiff as if they were made 15 days ago or must have been heated and that is why they came stiff they have to take into account what they sell us as consumers we want good things for the price we pay
June 19 · Nelly aylin UriñaTerrible service, they sold me an expired polish and I went and they didn't want to give me my money back because according to them I had already taken the product. I bought it yesterday, June 17th, and the polish expired on June 18th. Yesterday it was already bitter. Be careful when giving anything to your children from that store. I was just about to give it to my children when I tried it and it was useless. And worse, they don't apologize or anything. I'm not giving it any stars.
