★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Baolala in Industry City is a great spot for a refreshing drink! We stopped by while exploring the area and found it to be quite spacious with a really friendly staff. Although they have a food menu, we were too full from trying other Industry City spots to sample it. My matcha cafe latte was excellent – definitely hit the spot. It’s a good place to take a break and grab a beverage while you're exploring.
April 20 · Enzo TanBaolala is a true gem for lovers of authentic Asian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and attentive staff make you feel welcome. The highlight of my visit was without a doubt the chef’s special skewers – perfectly grilled, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Each bite was a delight, showcasing high-quality ingredients and careful preparation.I also enjoyed their hot sake, which paired perfectly with the savory skewers and added a cozy touch to the meal. It’s clear that Baolala takes pride in both its food and drink offerings.A quick note for sushi lovers: Baolala is not your typical sushi restaurant. While they do offer raw fish and rice options like sashimi, there are no traditional sushi rolls on the menu. This actually makes the experience more unique, as the focus is on a different side of Asian cuisine that’s often overlooked.Overall, Baolala delivers an outstanding dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to try something new or simply enjoy a delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal, Baolala is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back for more skewers and sake!
June 14 · Vladislav ZborovskiyI got the soft shell crab noodle soup with a crystal boba passion fruit tea drink. Everything was good but the broth was soooo salty. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the soft shell crab was crispy and the veggies were good, but what ruined it for me was the broth. I had to pour my own water into the soup to dilute it.The drink was perfect though. This is a weird one because generally speaking I have a problem with boba being too sweet, but this wasn’t the case here. I’d only come here for the drinks or the dry noodles. Skip the soup.Anyways, see the before and the aftermath in the photos.
June 19 · LilyWhile ordering was clunky, the food was pretty good. The hamburger and noodles were all flavorful. This matcha latte was cute and declines as well. The place needs more chairs as our party of 7 took up half of them leaving tables without chairs.
August 17 · Howard LewGreat food and service. Their vegan mapo tofu and crispy garlic chicken bowl was so good. The mapo tofu had the right level of mala (left a bit sweaty ha). The garlic chicken was perfectly crispy and garlicky. Would definitely come back!
