April 02 · Karen WyckWhat a cute place. The owner and staff are so nice. They have a nice selection of Japanese whiskey. The food was ok. They do have some unique selections and I love to try new things. So we got the sweetfish bone chips and clam cakes. I liked both. It’s a very small place and a great spot to have a small bite and a drink with a special someone or friends.
May 18 · Chris CurryPretty new bar in Hudson square area. The owner and bartenders are super kind. The bar itself is a little small (great date spot). Good selection of sochus, sakes, and Japanese whiskeys, alongside beers. A hidden gem, I’ll definitely be back.
June 22 · Dhruv PatelBar Mutsumi is probably my favorite Japanese bar in the city! The shochu selection is incredible and their house infusions are delightful. Great music and ambiance as well - definitely a secret gem in Soho.
August 31 · Victor Yifan YeDecided to check this place out with a friend and it did not disappoint! As soon as we entered, it felt like we were transported to Japan with music from the 80s. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Mutsumi-san) and she was so nice and friendly! We also had a nice chat with the bartenders/servers and they were both super sweet and fun to chat with :)We tried variety of their Japanese sake/drinks and they all tasted great (especially the one that had a nice aroma of lychee-like scent). Definitely recommend if you're into japanese snack bar type of place for a drink and fun atmosphere with great people!
