What is worth choosing
When you visit Bareburger, the menu presents a great selection of choices, but a few items truly stand out and are worth highlighting. While some may find the "Standard" burger to be just that—standard—it's the more unique and premium offerings where Bareburger truly shines. The "Sweet Bison Blues," with its combination of all-natural bison, bacon, aged blue cheese, and caramelized onions, has been hailed as the "biggest hit of the meal," with flavors that come together perfectly without being overpowering. This is a must-try for anyone looking for a more adventurous and flavorful burger.
The true gems of Bareburger, however, seem to be found in its sides. The Gourmet Breaded Onion Rings are consistently praised as some of the best ever, described as crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. Similarly, the fried Brussels sprouts are a popular choice, noted for their rich, addictive flavor. These sides alone are reason enough for a visit and are highly recommended to complement any burger choice. For those seeking plant-based options, Bareburger is a fantastic destination. The "Impossible Standard" and "Cilantro Black Bean" patties are popular choices, and the ability to customize your vegan burger with various toppings and buns ensures a fulfilling and delicious meal.
For a more indulgent experience, the "Supreme Burger" is an option, although some may find it a bit heavy on the meat. If you're a steak fan, the truffle cheesesteak is a good option to consider, offering a different flavor profile while maintaining the restaurant's commitment to quality. Lastly, don't forget to check out their milkshakes, which are made with organic milk or oat milk and organic ice cream, making them a great choice for a sweet treat. In essence, while the basic burgers are good, the true value and flavor of Bareburger are found in its more creative menu items and stellar sides, making it a worthy choice for a high-quality burger in New York.

Bareburger Reviews
With outdoor dinner plans ruined by the New York rain we turned to Bareburger to solve our problems. We will note that we ordered it for delivery so we didn’t go into the actual restaurant so this is all with their delivery process in mind. Ordering from their website wasn’t too difficult and they had good customization options that allowed us to get our burgers how we liked them. We ordered a Standard with fries and a Sweet Bison Blues with a root beer. The ETA for the food was around 30-40 minutes and ended up coming around 45 minutes after so be prepared to wait a bit past ETA for your food like we did.The burgers looked okay, nothing special but nobody eats a burger with their eyes anyways. The Standard was good but nothing you couldn’t get at another burger place. I guess that’s why they call it The Standard but we were hoping for something better. The fries were just okay, again very average for a burger place which isn’t bad but when you’re paying for a “better burger”, you definitely want to feel like you’re eating something of that quality. Lastly, the Sweet Bison Blues was good. It’s a bison burger with bacon, blue cheese, and caramelized onions. The burger does come together pretty well with flavors being equal and nothing overpowering, the biggest hit of the meal. Unfortunately for the amount you pay here, I don’t see why you wouldn’t go to either Jackson Hole or drop a tier to Five Guys or Shake Shake.
June 29 · Amber LeeThe onion rings were hands down the best I’ve ever had. crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The fried Brussels sprouts were a close second: rich, flavorful, and addictive. I tried the truffle cheesesteak, which was pretty good, though not mind-blowing. As for the Supreme Burger, I was hoping for more, it felt like it relied too heavily on the meat without enough balance or contrast from other ingredients. Still, worth checking out for the sides alone.
July 28 · Mahyar Khosravi (Mark)Grant J was great he was very informative and went above to find me a lid for my coke to go!!! The wings are yummy & onion rings were delicious!! July 26 · Belinda MontgomeryI dont know. I always feel like these locations feel dingy and unkept... dont know why. The food is good. Drinks are good. However, my guacamole lacked flavor, and the chips were soggy and chewy. They still made us pay for it despite the complaints. Nuggets were cold. And the sprouts, despite being cold they were good.
June 19 · RAM IMAGERYI love this brand and this place is a great example of why.Food was fantastic, ordered the national during the lunch deal, so I got a drink and fries for an additional dollar. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful.Great value for great food and a great experience.Definitely recommend 👍
