It's a very good spot to grab coffee or a snack. Clean and urban vibe. It's a strong coffee and a good number of seats. Window bar with a hot cup, a bit of Spotify, and watch the people pass by.If you like being around people, in s chill enviro, and like coffee and black stars, then you really have to stop here on your travels.

Came here twice in 2 days. Had a great Almond Milk Iced Latte. One of the visits my son had the egg bagel. Nice setting and would go back next time I’m in the area.

They have soy milk!! As someone who’s dairy averse and also keeping up with their protein intake, Soy Lattes are my go to. This is one of the few places in the area with soy milk ❣️

I love black Star. I always go to the UES location. This was my first time in their Brooklyn location and it is as good. Food is great. healthy, and fresh. My favorites are the avocado toast and chai but you cannot go wrong with anything you order. The pastries are to die for. The staff is warm polite and welcoming and the place itself is beautiful and clean. A perfect coffee shop.
