Bread Alone Bakery - Tompkins Square Reviews
This is a review of Bread Alone tent at Forest Hills Sunday Greenmarket. Poor service for such a pricey product. A family bodega will accept a credit card for their $1.5 coffee, as will small $.99 stores - those guys get very adamant about their $5 min - they’ll actually let you abandon cart over this. Well, less calories for me.
July 27 · oleg jelezniakovBread Alone Bakery is a well-regarded organic bakery that comes to the GrowNYC Tompkins Square Greenmarket on Sundays from 9:00am-4:00pm, often selling out of most items before closing. The bakery uses local organic grains in the breads and ingredients from local farms in the Hudson Valley. Many of the breads use a natural sourdough starter without yeast. The breads and baked goods are available loose (preferred) or in retail packaging. I'd recommend the whole wheat miche sourdough bread and very dense and hearty whole grain rye brod, and the vegan chocolate pound cake. You can find the ingredients to all the breads and baked goods on Bread Alone's website.
