Very well done here. The selection is overwhelming, everything is well displayed and there's a lot out of the ordinary. It will take me a few trips to try all their selection. The Kouign Amman was a good surprise, the cheese custard is near perfect between taste and texture, but the rosemary touch is what made the pastry. Try it.The crownie was different. The texture is new, more like a brioche than a croissant, and the taste keeps growing while eating. Interesting. It looks like all the money went on the production R&D and what was left was well spent in the decor. Good job here.Any downsides? Pricing is high, but sizing and quality are there, so it seems fair in the current environment. One couch and one communal table. No outside seating on my visit. Could do better. Not sure why the standard croissants and baguettes are left behind the counter. - Alessandro Frati

What is Worth Choosing

For a New Yorker, choosing **Breadivore Bakery** is a decision to prioritize true craft and exceptional flavor above all else. This bakery is not for those seeking the cheapest option, but for those who recognize and value the quality of true artisan baking. What makes it unequivocally worth choosing is the unparalleled quality of its products, particularly the bread.

The bakery’s unique focus on **Bordelais sourdough** with creative, generous additions is a major selling point. Customers buying the **fig walnut** and **herb gruyere** loaves attest to their perfection—still warm, incredibly fragrant, and texturally flawless. The absence of large, frustrating air pockets in the bread highlights the meticulous technique used, making it ideal for everything from toast to sandwiches. For bread lovers, the sensory experience alone—the smell of the warm loaves—is reason enough to make the trip.

Furthermore, the adventurous and successful execution of the **Viennoiserie** is another key differentiator. The positive reviews of the unique **Kouign Amman** and **Crownie** suggest that the bakery’s expertise extends beyond simple loaves into complex pastry work. This diversity ensures that whether you are a dedicated "bread alone" enthusiast or someone craving a morning pastry and **Coffee**, Breadivore offers a phenomenal, unforgettable treat.

In a city filled with bakeries, Breadivore is carrying the torch for truly magical, high-caliber baking. It’s a worthwhile investment for the quality, making it a cherished local resource in Park Slope for those who believe that a great loaf of bread can indeed carry you through the times.
