While every scoop at Emack & Bolio's is a treat, a few things are especially worth trying. The first, and most obvious, is one of their famous cones. For a truly indulgent experience, opt for a chocolate-dipped cone covered in something unique like fruity pebbles, sprinkles, or even marshmallows. It’s the perfect way to elevate your ice cream and create a dessert that is both delicious and visually stunning. This is a signature of the brand and something you absolutely have to experience at least once.
When it comes to flavors, the choices can be overwhelming, but there are some standouts. For those with a love of classic tastes, a simple chocolate or vanilla scoop is always a great choice, but be sure to ask for samples to find your perfect flavor. The shop also offers specialty flavors like the Pistachio Butter, which has a distinct and rich taste, though it may be more on the icier side for those who prefer an ultra-creamy texture. And if you're looking for a non-dairy option, their vegan choices are highly recommended, proving that you don't have to sacrifice flavor for dietary needs. Beyond the ice cream, they also serve coffee, making it a great spot for a pick-me-up or an affogato-style dessert. Ultimately, the best choice at Emack & Bolio's is whatever combination of flavor and cone speaks to you, because with so many options, you can create a truly personalized and delicious treat.

The indoor seating is clean, cozy, and provides a great space to enjoy your dessert, whether you're stopping by on a hot day or looking for a sweet evening treat. One of the standout features is their wide selection of cones—you can choose from classic waffle cones, chocolate-dipped options, sprinkle-covered cones, and many more. They have plenty of classic and unique options to suit any craving and also offer delicious vegan choices, so everyone can find something to enjoy regardless of dietary restrictions. The staff is friendly and patient, always happy to offer samples or help you decide from their tempting selection. Overall, I would recommend coming here if you’re in the mood for ice cream.
May 15 · Danielle BourneDelicious but pricey ice cream! I got the pistachio butter and it tasted amazing, though it was more on the icier side than creamy. Also, for a simple single scoop, it was $7!
July 07 · Phoebe WangIce cream shop in Brooklyn, 741 Fulton st, near Ft Greene Park. So many flavors! All of them amazing! I tasted so many and loved them all! The passion fruit sorbet and toasted Smore's were 2 of my favorites, but they all tasted so good its hard to choose. They have some tables in-doors. They have Belgium waffles during cold months, add a scoop of ice cream! They offer coffee, cookies and lots of cones and toppings for your ice cream. Well worth stopping in after dinner and getting some ice cream for a walk around the park. They are open year round because any day is a great day for good ice cream and this is the best ice cream!
June 14 · Jim HuntThis was a sweet discovery. I was leaving dinner at Outpost and walking back to my car when i stumbled upon this gem.Ice cream shops kind of sell themselves. You can see the products from the glass, the staff was quite warm and approachable. They were happy to let us taste test from the menu before committing. I saw lots of viable ice cream and ice cream bar options. Eventually I settled on the almond coconut bar. If you like Almond Joy, you’ll be in heaven when you taste this. The flavor was rich without being intoxicating and it was the perfect treat for an unseasonably warm day.The prices are Fort Greene. This is not Baskin Robins per se. You’re getting gourmet flavors in a pricey area so for me, that’s not an issue.Sit outside, enjoy your ice cream, people watch and enjoy the experience.
March 28 · S BentI was greeted when I walked in.I ordered the space cake and it was delicious. According to the employee, some flavors are not available due to location, such as the cake batter.
