It's a true escape from the ordinary and a perfect spot for those seeking a unique and stylish night out.
The essence of Fritz is its commitment to great cocktails and a superb atmosphere, as highlighted by numerous patrons. The bar is known for its "great cocktails," a reputation earned through a creative and extensive drink menu that features everything from classic martinis to unique "Fritz Signatures" like the Munich Merman and the Barbie Cosmo. This dedication to mixology is what draws in cocktail enthusiasts from all over the borough. Beyond the drinks, the atmosphere receives high praise. A customer review mentions the "hidden gem of a backyard seating," indicating that the bar offers a serene and intimate outdoor space perfect for a relaxed evening. The service is also a key highlight, with one customer enthusiastically praising a server named Will, noting that they "had the best time and beverage." This personal touch is a significant part of what makes Fritz a special place. The bar's ability to be both a lively spot during happy hour and a quieter, more intimate setting at other times allows it to cater to different moods and preferences. It's a place that is vibrant but not overwhelming, trendy but not pretentious. This balance is a hard-won achievement and a major reason for its success. The fact that Fritz is both Black-owned and women-owned also adds to its identity, showcasing a commitment to diversity and community leadership. It's a bar that truly embodies the modern, inclusive spirit of Brooklyn, offering a welcoming space for everyone, including those who identify as LGBTQ+ and embrace gender fluidity.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1WILL, WILL, WILL is the best server and is just tooooooo cute. Had the best time and beverage (Pornstar) with a shot of Prosecco. This place is a hidden gem of a backyard seating. A total recommendation⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
May 18 · Shaquana LMet up with some friends for happy hour at Fritz. It wasn’t too crowded up until the happy hour time ended. Then it definitely is full, so be aware if you plan on coming with a group. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, go in the earlier side. Drinks were good and food was okay. The oysters were on the smaller side and were just okay. My friends said the deviled eggs, lobster roll, and crème brûlée were great!
March 01 · Samantha “Sam” Santiago-GionetTaylor was great and had amazing recommendations. She told me the Fritz Martini was the way to go and I will be a repeat customer whenever I’m in the downtown Brooklyn area. She was great and I look forward to checking out the Martini Mondays that she told me about when I walked I
August 10 · Dan BauerThe martinis are other worldly! So crisp and cold. Love that you get a little refill portion (on ice!) and the olives and lemon twist on the side are delightful. The place is super cute. It was kind of raining but we still got to be in their partially indoor/outdoor space which is a huge bonus. The service was amazing. She took really good care of us. My only complaint is that there’s not a single substantial vegan item on the menu and I would’ve liked to grab a nibble while there. However the place is so cute and the drinks were so good, I was still very very happy! Oh also, any place that puts the “vacant/occupied” locks on their bathroom doors is really doing it right. Love it.
June 20 · Annie HudsonGreat bar, lovely staff, the music is awful however. Way too loud you can barely hear your friends talk and is an outrageous pop mix. If I wanted to hear a mish mosh of early 2000’s pop I would just put on the radio rather than going to a $20-$30 cocktail bar in fort Greene. Someone hand the AUX over.
May 14 · Ming ChenGreat addition to the neighborhood! $10 cocktails and $5 beers til 6 🍻 The schnickelfritz mezcal swizzle is a must. Highly recommend the meatball sliders.
