★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I like Cafecito Social a lot, more than most of the typical coffee shops in the area. In interior is great, they have outdoor seating (though limited), and the drinks were delicious. It might be my new go to cafe in the area when I’m walking by. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet. They also have non caffeinated drink options if that’s your thing.
August 11 · Andrew DabydeenWent to the Smorgasburg stand in Prospect Park today around noon. The cashier (who may be the owner based on some pictures, but unsure) was finishing up with another customer, so the barista (who was very sweet and professional) asked if she could get something started for me. The older woman interrupted her and took my order, an iced quad cardamom latte with oat milk, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. She questioned the quad shot, saying "ok so you mean extra shot." For the record, I have worked in specialty coffee for almost ten years. A day one Starbucks trainee would be able to understand that order. My friend ordered their coffee from her next, a Tres Leches cold brew. The cashier, pointing to me, said "Okay you want something simple. She had to make it complicated." When I looked at her she said "Just kidding."If this was in fact the owner, treating your staff and your paying customers like this is so embarrassing. Perhaps take some lessons from your employees, who are clearly more courteous and can actually do the job.
July 27 · Kris GloriosoTried the Guatemalan Americano and Cardamom Latte at their Prospect Park pop-up. Good coffee & great service
June 18 · Ravi SivaramanExcellent experience at this Guatemalan outpost. The coffee is sourced from their home country and served to perfection.Over the seasons I've sampled some great pastries and a few of their specialty coffee beverages. Service always comes with a smile.I am truly looking forward to my next visit.
July 12 · Fred AllusoThis place just opened… and WOW! The flavors are so unique (Guatemalan-inspired), atmosphere is lively, and the coffee is just delicious! I had a cardamom latte and parmesan & black pepper twist. Both were great — I will definitely be back. So glad it’s finally open :)
