We were on a driving tour of the CT shore and one stop was our favorite coffee house in Darien. We have been coming here for several years.Sandwiches are delicious and we also always get a muffin or two. Their coffee is the best around.The vibe of this place is what keeps lots of us coming back time after time. Some of us just eating, drinking coffee and relaxing and others working on computers.A great place to hang out.

I did an uber pick-up and was in a slightly bad mood picking up as it had not been made yet and it was like 30 minutes since the order was placed. I quickly changed my attitude when the women working were trying their best to keep up but still so lovely, apologetic, and professional. Makes you realize, your delayed coffee is worth the top-tier customer service and the delicious coffee and macaroons. My first visit - won’t be my last! Bravo to the two ladies today and way to hustle!

I was there over the weekend and fell in love with the interior space. Great place to go do work with coffee and something to eat. If I lived nearby, I'd be there often. Had coffee - which was delicious and so smooth, and a warm ham and cheese croissant. Sat in comfy chairs chatting with my niece and her boyfriend who live in the area. Staff was very friendly, even though at times they seemed very busy. Will go again, that's for sure!

Great coffee and food! I usually order a pastry and/or one of the small sandwiches, but there are so many options to choose from. My go-to drink is an oat milk cappuccino, which is very good. There are also many different foods I want to try, like the mini pizzas and soups. In addition to coffee, they have a variety of other drink options on the menu. The cafe is very cozy, filled with books and a toasty vibe that's perfect for a winter day. I also enjoy working / studying here by myself or with a friend. The outdoor seating is perfect for warmer days. Highly recommend!UPDATE:For my recent visit I ordered the gingerbread cake, the bacon breakfast roll, a ham & cheese croissant, and oat milk cappuccinos.
