### What is Worth Choosing
To truly experience the best of Taqueria La Picardia, New York users should focus on the dishes that highlight their authentic cooking and fresh ingredients.
Start your meal with the **Guacamole Fresco**. At $$$12.00, it's a must-have, likely prepared fresh to order, and pairs perfectly with the **Chips & Salsa**. Another highly recommended appetizer is the **Esquites**—a delicious cup of off-the-cob street corn, a true staple of Mexican street food that showcases their authenticity.
The **Our Tacos** selection is the heart of the restaurant. While all options are great, locals should prioritize the **Al Pastor Taco** and the **Beef Birria** for a true taste of Mexican flavor. For the adventurous palate, the **Lengua Taco** is a sign of a kitchen committed to authentic preparation. Remember, they also offer the unique **Taco Arabe** at a lower price point ($$$4.50), a fascinating fusion dish worth trying.
A specific recommendation from a satisfied customer points directly to the **Enchiladas Chicken / Cheese** with green sauce, demonstrating this is a consistent favorite among locals. For those craving something handheld but bigger, their **Gringas**, which come in **Al Pastor** and **Carnitas** versions, are a fantastic choice—a fun, slightly different take on a taco or quesadilla.
Finally, the fact that Taqueria La Picardia offers **Late-night food** is a massive benefit to the Port Chester area. It means you can satisfy your craving for authentic tacos and quesadillas well after many other local dining spots have closed. With its delicious food, excellent service, and welcoming, artsy atmosphere, Taqueria La Picardia is an undeniable standout for Mexican cuisine in Westchester County.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a very cute place! Everything was a 6/5. The decor is a trip, you'll spend time looking and finding so many cool stickers or signs and the tacos were very delicious. It was my first time there, but i would eat in here again.
July 24 · Afran ShamsuddinThis is an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is quaint and laid-back, the food is amazing, and the service is excellent. You might not notice the restaurant if you walk by, but it is worth stopping in. I would recommend the chicken enchiladas with green sauce.
July 07 · Tim SangstonSeriously, some of the worst Mexican food I think I've ever had. Odd greasy tasting food, no real hot sauce to hide it in it and the loud god-awful Grateful Dead music. The Dead kinda sucked in the '70s and they suck even more with bad Mexican food
July 18 · Chris GVery nice and laid back chilled kind of vibes. Customer service was amazing and so was the food. I ordered a Taco Arabe and it was very delicious. Pulled pork was cooked well and the taste was amazing.
June 25 · Ally EspinalThe food is good not great. The guacamole was a bit soupy. The deserts actually are the best part about this place. The churros are stuffed with I think Dulce de Leche and were delicious. The Tres Leches cake was super moist and yummy. They had only one server who I felt may have been stretched thin. But she was super nice and super attentive despite that. She did a great job.Not sure if I'd go back.
