On June 19 at around 6:30 PM, I ordered from this Checkers location via Uber Eats. When I opened the sealed delivery bag, a live cockroach fell out. Not crawling around my house inside the delivery bag. I took photos and video. I filed a health department complaint.The next day, I received a call from someone claiming to be a regional manager. Instead of taking accountability or even apologizing, he tried to blame Uber Eats, claimed he’s “never seen a roach in 10 years,” implied I might be lying to get free food, and then said something truly unbelievable:“There are no roaches on Long Island.”That’s what passes for customer service here. Gaslighting, denial, and deflectionwhile someone out there is still being served food from a location with obvious sanitation issues. I don’t care what he’s never seen I saw it yesterday and have the evidence.Checkers corporate has been notified. So has the Department of Health. I highly recommend you don’t take the risk
