Today was the grand opening of Cold Stone here in Elmont, and it did not disappoint! The place was packed with excited customers, and the staff handled the rush like absolute pros. The vibe was energetic and fun, and you could feel the excitement in the air.I ordered a Gotta Have It size creation with a scoop of sweet cream and a scoop of cheesecake ice cream. I loaded it up with Butterfingers, golden Oreos, and peanut butter cups—all mixed together and served in a dipped waffle bowl. The combo was insane—rich, creamy, and full of flavor in every bite. The sweet cream and cheesecake ice creams balanced each other perfectly, and the candy mix-ins added the perfect crunch and sweetness.The dipped waffle bowl took it over the top. Cold Stone really knows how to go big, and this location is off to a great start. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more combos. If you’re in the area, this spot is a must!

Not a great experience.. I asked for the surrender to strawberry in a cup with extra cake. The extra cake wasn’t put in the ice cream but then on the side?TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE I FOUND A HAIR IN MY ICE CREAM.The strawberries were so frozen that you couldn’t taste them and they were in edible.

I never expect for stores and food service employees to roll out the red carpet for us guests (especially since there are some nasty customers out there), however, basic respect and manners go a long way! I recently visited this location and was met with the most awkward interaction I’ve ever had at a Cold Stone store. It almost like the main requirements for working here are to be rude and have attitude. The employee who “helped” me was totally careless and disrespectful. There was no greeting, no thank you for choosing us, no you’re welcome after I said thank you, and no have a great evening. To make matters worse, he gave me the total opposite of what I ordered. I didn’t even receive a receipt since he crumpled it up before I could even ask for it. For a lack of better words, this location sucks. I don’t see this location staying open for long. If they want this place to last longer than a year, they need to seriously train their employees to do a better job or clean house!

Stopped in for some ice cream a few weeks ago and had really nice experience. The place was clean, the ice cream hit the spot, and the staff was super friendly. Crystal C especially was great. I'll be coming back for sure.

Came in for a quick treat and ended up having such a nice experience thanks to Jacob O. He was so kind and welcoming, and you could tell he actually enjoyed what he was doing. My ice cream was perfectly made—and he was super patient with me while I decided what I wanted. I got the birthday cake remix and it was amazing!You don’t always get that kind of service these days. Will definitely be coming back!
