Taiwanese restaurant ★4.0 (124)·$10–20

45-37 C, Bell Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361, USA

4.0
Real authentic Taiwanese food!We wanted to try so many food but it was only the three of us including a toddler so we ordered the key items like beef soup noodle, braised pork belly rice and chicken cutlet rice with side of Taiwanese sausage, beans and calamari fish balls. So our toddler loved the fried chicken cutlet w rice and the noodle. He even had the beans. The beans were a bit over cooked but as long as my toddler can have some, it’s ok when most of the other items were made fairly well. The drawback of this place is the sanitation of the restaurant. The toilet needs some more attention and the shop felt quite packed. They said it’s a self service restaurant but the station outside took up so much space, they could have had the cashier do some minor tidying up while freeing up some space for people to walk through. Also the cashier is pretty firm on cash and don’t accept Zelle. So be prepare if you want to order. No reservation and not very kids friendly (no high chair). The place was too packed, they gave us a two seater for the 3 of us while he could have combined two small tables together or moved us to a bigger table when the table comes up. But no, not that kind of service here.Other wise, the food is really authentic and we will come back again. Just hope some improvements can be made. - Jaz Cheerios
