★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Real authentic Taiwanese food!We wanted to try so many food but it was only the three of us including a toddler so we ordered the key items like beef soup noodle, braised pork belly rice and chicken cutlet rice with side of Taiwanese sausage, beans and calamari fish balls.So our toddler loved the fried chicken cutlet w rice and the noodle. He even had the beans. The beans were a bit over cooked but as long as my toddler can have some, it’s ok when most of the other items were made fairly well.The drawback of this place is the sanitation of the restaurant. The toilet needs some more attention and the shop felt quite packed. They said it’s a self service restaurant but the station outside took up so much space, they could have had the cashier do some minor tidying up while freeing up some space for people to walk through.Also the cashier is pretty firm on cash and don’t accept Zelle. So be prepare if you want to order. No reservation and not very kids friendly (no high chair). The place was too packed, they gave us a two seater for the 3 of us while he could have combined two small tables together or moved us to a bigger table when the table comes up. But no, not that kind of service here.Other wise, the food is really authentic and we will come back again. Just hope some improvements can be made.

Don’t let the dark color of the chicken fool you—it’s perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The flavor is rich and satisfying, with every bite better than the last.The stinky tofu is another highlight—crispy, flavorful, and served with traditional Chinese-style pickled vegetables that add a refreshing contrast and balance the dish perfectly. The portions are generous, and the food always feels warm and homemade.Just note that this is a self-service restaurant.Whether you dine in or take out, the food and experience are consistently great. If you’re into authentic Taiwanese flavors with comforting sides, this spot is a must-visit!

The place is clean and well-kept, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The food tastes fresh without being overloaded with MSG. My favourite is the chicken leg bento!!it’s just so tasty!

Some people seem to have issue with the self service, taking out your own food, pouring out the soup etc. I find that experience quite refreshing. They provide quicker service, lower staff cost and you get to save on tip (can still tip at the front), sounds like a win win to me. And maybe i just enjoy the change of dining experience compared to all the other places

This time I came with friends, and they all loved it too.The restaurant is small but warmly decorated. The music is soft and relaxing, never too loud. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a hot meal after a long day at work.I highly recommend their braised pork rice (lu rou fan)—it’s their signature dish and the most popular item on the menu! The pork melts in your mouth, tender and flavorful without being greasy. The rich sauce is perfect over rice. If it’s your first time here, this is a must-try!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Another must-try is their stinky tofu — hands down the most authentic Taiwanese-style stinky tofu I’ve had in NYC! The smell isn’t overwhelming, and it’s fried to perfection. The tangy pickled cabbage and special house sauce are what truly bring the dish to life. I get it every single time I visit.A few things to keep in mind: Cash only. The food tends to be on the heavier, more flavorful side.
