Whether you're a local resident, a student, or a visitor passing through, Cinnamon Girl provides a unique culinary experience that blends New York sophistication with comforting, homemade flavors. Location and Accessibility
Cinnamon Girl is conveniently located at 583 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225, USA, placing it firmly in a bustling, central part of the borough, particularly near the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens area. Its proximity to Prospect Park makes it a popular stop for people heading out for a run or a leisurely stroll, or simply for those engaging in the daily Flatbush Avenue people-watching scene.
Accessibility is designed primarily for a quick, efficient experience. While the venue offers dine-in service, seating is limited, typically featuring two indoor high-top tables (without chairs) and a few tables for outdoor seating. This setup favors the New York "grab and go" mentality, prioritizing fast service. For patrons arriving by car, there is paid street parking available nearby. The quick-service model ensures that while the space may be small, your wait time for excellent coffee or a quick bite is kept efficiently minimal, which is essential for a busy city life.

Contact Information
For New Yorkers looking to visit Cinnamon Girl, the primary point of contact is the physical location.
Address: 583 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225, USA
As a neighborhood cafe prioritizing on-site service and local interaction, a public-facing phone number is not consistently available across directories. Therefore, planning a visit is best done by checking the general operating hours (typically 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily) and visiting the location directly.
What is Worth Choosing
Cinnamon Girl is worth choosing primarily for its exceptional baked goods and its robust, flavorful coffee program. For anyone in Brooklyn, particularly those near Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, the quality of the pastries alone warrants a visit. The highly celebrated Vegan Cinnamon Rolls are repeatedly mentioned as a must-try signature dish—soft, gooey, and generously spiced—even by non-vegans. Similarly, the custom cake service, especially for vegan birthday cakes, has received rave reviews for taste and quality. The savory items, such as the flaky quiches and unique ethnic patties, provide excellent, hearty meal options for breakfast or lunch.
While the shop offers Fast service, it is important for New Yorkers to manage expectations regarding long lines and item availability during peak times, as reported by some customers. The recommendation is to use the glass display case to check item stock, as signage for sold-out items can be inconsistent. However, the quality of the food—from the highly affordable $1 drip coffee to the gourmet Nova on 7 Grain Sandwich ($13.00)—makes the occasional wait worthwhile. The general store aspect, selling local provisions, is an added convenience that elevates the entire experience, transforming a simple coffee shop visit into a chance to support local businesses and stock up on unique household goods. For a quality, quick-service bakery and coffee shop that genuinely caters to all dietary needs in a cozy Brooklyn setting, Cinnamon Girl is an excellent local choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Overall rating: 4.2I was going to feel bad for leaving a low review, but after reading the others - seems like it’s a common theme. Funny enough, I came here just to waste time. The nail salon next by told me to wait 20 minutes. The line was 20 min plus, with one person manning the cashier. After getting through the line, the items I wanted along with the backups were sold out. I don’t understand why they don’t mark it off on their board especially after how long it takes. She said you can tell by looking at the glass section, but there are no signs anywhere. She said she had a beans pocket left & since I waited so long, I got it. It was not good. I’m surprised because the items on the menu are very flavorful. So disappointed! And a waste. Please consider a sign of what you’re sold out in or clearer labels on what’s available.
April 13 · Olivia NOrdered two delicious vegan birthday cakes and everyone loved them and couldn’t get enough of how tasty they were. Friendly staff with great services and tasty pastries & cakes.
May 12 · Michael WilkinsonI go there often, they always have many options of vegan cakes and treats. Everything is always so good and the coffee as well!!
September 05 · Diana SalmazoTL;DR - Solid drip coffee, flaky beef patty, not too sweet BK blackout cake. Great little spot for coffee, savory baked good, pastries and cakes.SERVICE:Very welcoming staff, they took the time to go over everything they had and even went into specific dietary items like 'these are vegan and those are gluten free', etc.FOOD:I tried their beef patty, because they were out of their curry one. The patty was flaky, they warmed it up for me and it was still warm when I got back home (15 mins later). They have plenty of freshly made baked goods and cakes, tried a slice of their BK blackout and I was shocked at how moist and not too sweet it was. If you get the ratio of chocolate frosting to cake bite, it's heavenly and velvety - perfectly paired w/a sip of their drip coffee.ATMOSPHERE:Very welcoming vibes from the staff to the place itself. The decor makes you feel like you pulled up to a general store in a small town on a road trip.Do yourself a favor and go support local businesses like this one, whether you live here or just in the neighborhood.
June 03 · CI love this place and their selection of hot food and pastries. I see a lot of negative reviews about their coffee but I got an iced vanilla coffee today and thought it was delicious. I also love their curated selection of groceries. The people who work here are super nice and it’s a lovely, quiet, peaceful spot. Don’t go here if you’re expecting it to be like a fast food coffee place
