★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Exquisite meal at this gorgeous restaurant in a spacious, quiet, beautifully-decorated room in the New York Historical Society. We shared delicious appetizers (shrimp, a stuffed pasta and tuna tartare). My scallops entree was perfectly cooked and my wife’s chicken was delectable. The chocolate cake and coffee were a perfect ending. If you are looking for a beautiful space with large windows (overlooking the Museum of Natural History), quiet enough for conversation, this is an excellent option on the UWS.
May 31 · James HirschfeldI loved this place! High ceilings, big windows and nice bar! The service was good, and the food too! We took restaurant week menu, so the portion was a bit smaller I assume. I will definitely come back maybe for a drink
August 17 · MihoThe most INCREDIBLE experience at this new Gem in the Historical District. The food was phenomenal, Chef Michael truly makes you feel at home in every bite! The entire menu is a must try and the fact that he takes the time to personally say hello to everyone dining is wonderful. The staff, service was top notch! A huge thanks to Michael as the host and Alisha for making us feel welcomed and for suggesting some great menu picks. They were fantastic- We cannot wait to go back!Pro tip: Save room for desert the homemade cakes and ice cream are divine!
