September 11 · Sarah O'ConnellThe wine list is exquisite, my favorite being the Spanish Grenache but their California cabernet was absolutely delightful as well. The food was wonderful, plentiful and delicious. The cheese plate was fantastic and varied and Jackie was incredible in helping us decide which cheese and meat to pair with the wine we were drinking. In fact, Jackie was the best part of this already perfect evening! Shes warm, kind and an amazing host. The restaurant is beautiful, the food and wine enjoyable and the service was comforting and wholesome.Oh and the presentation was stunning… simply beautiful plating!Thank you for an utterly enjoyable evening on this last 80 degree day of 2024 💜
October 21 · MiloAmazing & delicious! Went there with my mom on my birthday. Great ambience, friendly staff & delicious food & wine! The charcuterie board was so fresh & delicious. The best Brie & prosciutto I’ve ever had! Followed by the tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich. We couldn’t be happier! Bravo! I look forward to coming back soon :)
June 23 · Dara MicheleForgot to post this review a while back but loved it and it should be known! My boyfriend and I on a Friday night walked by and saw live music going on and it peaked our interest, though the music seemed to just be wrapping up. The owners saw us outside and started chatting with us, talking about the beginnings of the bar and the changes in the neighborhood. They seemed like lovely people, so we decided we'd come the next weekend to try out the scene, and my goodness--SO glad we did.Now we missed the happy hour but we did still get to catch the live music of the week, which was a very cool Balkan Jazz Band. We saw the owners again (they remember us!), and we ordered some wine as per their recommendation. The red wine my boyfriend ordered was particularly really tasty, and as someone that doesn't normally try red wines even I was into it (it was a Red Tuscan wine, total recommend). We also tried the hummus and chocolate cake. The cake was good, moist and rich in all the right places, but definitely too big a piece to finish on my own. The hummus actually surprised me with how good it was and that really stood out.Overall, with the classy ambiance and all, I love this wine bar, the sweet owners, and the wine selections they have to offer. I will certainly be coming back so I can get a taste of more wines on this list, and so I can try the Truffle Mac and Cheese I keep hearing about!
June 05 · Alyssa D. (aly del vee)I’ve been coming to Claret for years and realized recently I had never written a review. Last week I enjoyed the most beautiful and delicious Caesar salad with grilled shrimp that I knew it was time to post! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and, side note, throw a kick ass Halloween party every year which I am looking very forward to.
