★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My family and I were loyal customers since their opening in 2018. We discontinued supporting this business in 2023 because of the owner's lack of customer service and his employees. A few years ago, I contacted them to place a simple cake order, left my information and the kind of cake I wanted. I was told I would be contacted for the price so I can personally go and place the order. I was never contacted, I called the bakery and was told I was not contacted because the owner had too many orders and could not place mine.He seems to cater only to customers who order elaborate cakes. He's forgetting that the loyal customers are those who are daily purchasing pastries, coffee, sliced cakes, cookies, etc. They lost me as a customer years ago, I gladly go to Artuso's in little Italy.
September 24 · M RStopped by here before hopping on the Metro North and it was decent. The iced latte was decent. It looked more like an iced coffee than a latte but it tasted pretty good. They have a wide variety of syrups to spice things up a bit if you’re into flavored espresso drinks. The desserts look delicious. The service was friendly. The young woman at the counter greeted folks with a smile, which is always a lovely touch round these parts. My only thing about this place is the atmosphere. To me, it just has no character and feels rather generic. There’s minimal seating, which is okay, but I wish it had a bit more life. Maybe some soft music playing in the background (there could’ve been and I didn’t notice) to make things a little more like a charming bakery. Also, it can get quite warm in there which is why it took me so long to finally give it a try.
June 03 · bronxkiesI went in on 9/5/25 to place an order for a rectangular cake for no more than 8 people. I was quoted $150 for a plain cake that would only have two numbers on it. The staff told me the price was because of the shape, which made no sense since I’ve ordered 5–6 cakes a year here, often larger, and have paid around the same.I asked to speak to the owner for clarification and to see if a fairer price could be given, but the owner refused to come out. Why ask how many people the cake is for if the price doesn’t reflect that? At that rate, it’s cheaper to just buy slices than order a cake. There is nothing special or complicated about making a rectangular cake. The owner’s unwillingness to communicate shows a lack of basic customer service. They’ve permanently lost me as a customer. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to places that value their customers instead of overcharging and dismissing them.
September 05 · Jacqueline GomezI got a coffee to stay in and they still served it in a disposable cup. I was going to get a slice of cake, but they were also going to serve this in a disposable plastic container, so I decided against it. The lack of care shown for the environment and creating unnecessary waste, is absolutely shameful and shocking.
May 30 · Edward ByrnePlace is cute, a bit small inside with seating, but the prices are high. I've been there 2 times. The 1st time was nice, slices of cakes were fresh. The 2nd time around was different. I ordered 3 slices of cake was almost $22, and they were STALE! I waited on line for over 15 mins. There was only 1 cashier. I give her grace for the wait time, but paying all that money and cakes to be stale is very upsetting.
