short: good alternative to Factor75 offering more menu variety optionslong: I got tired of Factor75 very quickly. Everything tastes the same and not much menu variety. I have been looking for an alternative. Interestingly enough, the way I learned about these services was by seeing the boxes delivered to where I live. I saw plenty of Factor75 boxes, and that's why it was my first choice. The second popular one by a long distance seems to be CookUnity. I bumped into a barber at a coffee shop carrying a CookUnity bag, and he told me he stopped ordering Factor75 for the same reason, and he really likes it. I had forgotten CookUnity has a location on Lexington across the street from Baruch College because when I first walked by it, I had no idea what it was. It just seemed like a ghost kitchen. Anyway, this weekend, I picked up a chicken salad and a chicken meal, which was supposed to be my breakfast and lunch at work today, but I forgot to pack them. Therefore, it'll be my dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow. If I don't return to complain about it, then that means it's good. Update: it's delicious. The garlic herb butter dressing really made the salad. - WHITE LION

For the busy New Yorker, the challenge of eating well often comes down to a choice between cooking, which is time-consuming, and ordering takeout, which can quickly become repetitive and expensive. CookUnity has emerged as a game-changing solution, offering a perfect middle ground that provides the quality of restaurant food with the convenience of a meal service. While many might recognize it as a popular meal subscription and delivery service, its location in Manhattan also functions as a hub for local pickup, bridging the gap between a traditional restaurant and a modern, high-tech food platform. This isn't just about saving time; it's about elevating the everyday meal into a culinary experience. CookUnity's model is built on the idea that delicious, healthy food crafted by real chefs should be accessible to everyone, and for New Yorkers, it offers a refreshing alternative to the usual food routines.
