★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I stumbled upon this classic New York bagel shop while walking around the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a quick brunch. It had that typical NYC charm—order at the counter, a short line, and some casual seating inside (though I opted for takeout).I went with a lox bagel sandwich on an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese, topped with red onions, tomatoes, and capers. The bagel itself was warm and chewy with a perfect crust, and the little fried onion bits on top added just the right texture. The lox was incredibly fresh—thinly sliced and generously layered. The sandwich was delicious, but let me tell you—it’s hearty. One of those meals that holds you down for the day. Have one and you’re good till dinner, no snacks required.Overall, it wasn’t trying to be anything fancy—just a solid, satisfying NYC-style bagel done right.
June 09 · Debisree RayMy first ever NYC Bagel! Was a little disappointed at the lack on non dairy cream cheese options since I have a mild dairy allergy, but I just ducked in here and did zero research. Fantastic everything bagel and what I did get was DELICIOUS.
August 06 · Morgan LutzAs a local, I always like to try new bagel shops by work to get the scoop. This one was definitely below average by NY bagel standards— lacking in taste, chew, texture. Not to mention the menu price says $4.95 but the receipt says $5.12 with no explanation of any surcharge (an illegal consumer practice). This one is a hard skip.
June 20 · NatalieI would go here every morning for the lox/cream cheese spread which are best on a salted bagel. They never had a salted bagel. Today they finally had salted bagels. I had one with the lox/cream cheese s[read. The lox AND bagel were like leather. I mentioned it to the staff. They looked blankly at me. I had to throw out the lox and force myself to eat the bagel There are two bagel places right around the corner. Goodbye, Harry.
August 18 · Frank LeoneSuper friendly staff and a cute spot near midtown. Bagels are constantly being pumped out, and they are pretty tasty. Felt relatively expensive in comparison to other similar places, but still had a solid experience!
