SCAM!!!! Party people beware!!! The promoter of Daddy’s girl, who goes by the name of “Odd” embodies napoleonic complex to a tee. The process to gain entry involved the exchange of a few texts. Odd was the typical promoter, conversation was fluid . I inquired what the charge to get in would be, as obviously at the end of the day, its the bottom line that counts. Since I told him I’m friends with one of the peeps who works at the establishment - Odd pretty much told me he would treat me like his own and I quote “no minimum but only if they know me, but since you know X I have no problem of giving you the same deal” and reiterated the very same thing in his next line “no minimum table for a group of 8 for Friday”. I don’t know how anyone else would interpret the above, but to me it meant I get in, get a table and spend however, much I decide to order. Well, sadly that’s NOT what happened. While at the place I was greeted by a slimy little guy who would NOT make eye contact with me. Granted me being 5’8 and he a solid 5’ forced him to look up at me, which was somewhat difficult for him???!? His response to my “free” entry changed, suddenly it became $400 minimum!!!! I attempted to point out that was NOT our agreement and showed our texts as proof. He danced and pranced around the elephant in the room, where he obviously LIED TO ME with such nonsense as- “ this is a good price and that’s the going rate” I decided to speak to the hostess, in the hopes that I may appeal to a rational/reasonable person. To which she brought down the price to $250 - still NOT FREE, as originally promised to me, but sine I was there with friends, I was going to pay it. Once little Odd heard that I was gaining entry and was NOT going to pay him $400, well he shut her down STAT and would not allow it. What’s the rational for that??!?! Clearly an intelligent woman, who would NOT buy into his BS intimidated him and he was going to show me how powerful he is by not granting me access. Guess $250 was not substantial enough to compensate for his bruised ego. If I was the owner of the establishment I would think twice before having such a little lier of a person be the face of Daddy’s Girl.
