★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1“I had my best birthday experience ever at Darjeeling Kitchen and Cafe! 🎉 The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. Every detail—from the flavors to the service—was perfect. I’m so grateful for such a memorable celebration and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and a wonderful experience!”
September 15 · Farhana ArshadGreat addition to the Astoria restaurant scene! Went there for dinner recently and loved some of the appetizers..especially the "Pakoras" it was soo good that our group ordered another order of pakoras. The pan fried dumplings were delicious but I would prefer a different sauce to go with those than the chutney. Chai tasted like it was made fresh, not something that was sitting out for hours - it was delicious. Our group was not a fan of veg thali, however it was still great. Oh and the gajar halwa, so soo good!!! All in all, wonderful experience, GREAT service..I will definitely be back!
April 20 · Ritu SFood was extremely abundant! My friend was on a time crunch, but we got our food within 5 minutes of sitting down, so they ended up eating their fill before leaving. Atmosphere is cozy as well. My group was a little big due to the small space inside, so we didn’t have a table to accommodate everyone, but the servers worked hard to open up space (even asking a couple to relocate to another area).
September 07 · Selina ZhengHad the Nepali Thali with fish and it was delicious! So many flavors! Would definitely be getting it again!Service was nice and quicker than the last time I visited. The place is a bit small but is worth the wait! Definitely try the momos, too!
September 14 · Jason EngFound this place on Instagram and decided to try as I love Nepalese thalis! And I was NOT disappointed!!Having tried Nepalese food in a lot of places, this place is one of the best I have tried so far in NYC! Being halal certified even better! We tried the pan fried chicken momos which were just perfect, juicy and tasty and hit the spot! The chicken thali was just perfect! 🥰The service was also exceptional! Will definitely recommend it!
