In-store Pickup: This is the primary method of service, allowing customers to easily retrieve both walk-in items and pre-ordered specialty desserts.
Takeout: All items are available for takeout, perfect for bringing home a box of donuts, a slice of cheesecake, or a complete custom order for a party or event.
Coffee Offerings: For those stopping by for a morning treat or an afternoon pick-me-up, the availability of Coffee provides a perfect complement to their sweet selection.

The true allure of Deb Pam Bakery lies in its renowned product line, which balances everyday favorites with exceptional specialty items. The reputation is built upon consistent quality and generous value, making it a compelling alternative to larger chain bakeries.
The Legendary Cheesecake: This is arguably the most celebrated item on the menu. Patrons describe it as their "all time favorite," capable of holding its own against well-known national chains. The bakery typically has plain cheesecakes available for walk-in orders, but specialty versions may require calling ahead. The mini version, reportedly priced at only $3, offers incredible value and a perfect portion for a personal treat.
Exceptional Value on Classic Donuts: Demonstrating its commitment to affordability, the bakery offers a remarkable deal on its fresh donuts, with six donuts priced at only $4.75. This is a rare find in the current market, confirming the bakery's "deal" status and old-school commitment to pricing. Popular varieties include mixed selections, with highly sought-after options like the Boston Cream.
Diverse Specialty Dessert Portfolio: Beyond the famous cheesecake, the bakery offers a delightful range of other desserts. Items frequently available for walk-in purchase include mini apple turnovers, various cupcakes, and the impressive Napoleon cheesecake. Other highly desired items, such as mini cheesecakes, key lime pie, and small apple pie, require calling ahead to ensure availability, reflecting the fresh, made-to-order nature of a wholesale operation.
Wholesale Operation Efficiency: Being a dedicated Wholesale bakery explains the need to call ahead for certain items. This designation means the bakery often focuses on large-batch production, ensuring maximum freshness and scale, but also requires customers to communicate their specific, smaller-portion needs in advance.
Commitment to Freshness: The constant demand for pre-ordering specialty items underscores the bakery’s approach to freshness, ensuring that many of its more elaborate desserts are made specifically to meet customer demand rather than sitting on display for extended periods.
The wide range of options, from a simple cup of coffee and a donut to an intricate key lime pie, solidifies Deb Pam Bakery’s status as a comprehensive dessert destination in the Totowa area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The signs say it all. This is an old school bakery that never gets old. Only $4.75 for 6 donuts is a deal these days..I missed out on the Boston Cream, but the mixed ones I got were excellent.
March 24 · Chuck MoundAwesome dessert offerings from one of the small local bakeries in NJ. I’ve been hooked on their cheesecakes since college, when my roommate brought one to the dorm. Not an easy spot for me to get to since I don’t drive and live in NY. So it’s a treat every time someone can bring me back some of these desserts from NJ.Most of the items in the attached photos require calling ahead since they’re not normally on display. Mini apple turnovers, cupcakes and Napoleon cheesecake is usually available without ordering ahead. The other ones like the mini cheesecake, key lime pie and small apple pie need to be called in ahead. I wanted small portions so I could pig out on a little of everything :)I’m lactose intolerant, so I always take a lactaid pill before eating most of these. The mini apple turnovers are the only ones I can eat without my lactaid pills. But the creamy goodness of those other ones are totally worth it.It’s been many years since college, their cheesecake is still my all time favorite. Even compared to some of the well known chains that specialize in cheesecakes and some of the fancier restaurants, their cheesecake can hold its own. They usually always have plain ones available for walk-in orders. If you don’t want to pig out on a dessert spread like I did and want to try just one thing, the cheesecake would be my recommendation.Very reasonably priced, the mini cheese cake was $3. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially if you’re like me and are used to a “midtown premium” on food and desserts that aren’t even half as good as these. Call ahead if you want something specific though, their hours and dessert offerings for walk-in orders might be limited because of the pandemic right now. I usually tell me friend a couple of days in advance when I want something from this bakery.
February 14 · SunshineA piece of string was on the cake. When the lady removed it the decoration came off completely. The word congratulation was smudged on the cake. Was definitely not worth the $80. Had to call several times because the lady would not take my order during morning hours.
June 20 · Erica EscobarVisited this bakery today around 11:10a and I will say this and the owner needs to listen, because this is not cool!! The older lady was on the phone taking an order when we walked in,so we waited and watched and heard her cough all over her hands then proceeds to help us!!No washing her hands no gloves or anything!!! It was only after I said to her “so you’re not gonna wash your hands??!” she proceeds to do so with an attitude as if I coughed in my hands then proceeded to serve her without washing them or bare minimum putting on gloves!!!!Just gross!!!
June 24 · KENYA KINCHENI travel in to Totowa from Pennsylvania a few times a year and always stop in Deb Pam bakery. Nice assortment of baked goods. Love what you have!
