Domino's Pizza Reviews
I think there's some misunderstanding about the gloves, I spoke with the lady there and she was very nice and explained to me that they're actually not supposed to wear gloves with the type of food they're handling, because they are supposed to keep washing their hands. It's part of the rules from Dominoes to prevent bacteria from spreading BECAUSE of gloves.I saw her wash her hands before and after handling the food and taking it out of the oven. The store was clean and the workers were courteous even after I asked about the gloves. They had a good attitude which is rare nowadays.Sometimes you can ask before you jump to conclusions. I don't think this location deserves all the complaints and bad ratings, but I can understand the confusion.
September 19 · Ashley OrtizI recently visited the Domino's location at 109th and Third Avenue, and upon entering, I observed food scattered all over the floor, creating an unclean environment. The staff wore no hair nets, and I did not witness anyone washing their hands. As a vegetarian, I requested that the staff use gloves, especially after witnessing an employee handle wings with bare hands and then touch cheese without washing her hands. Unfortunately, my request was met with sarcasm and attitude. Upon noticing the dirty floors, I began recording, and an employee inquired if I was reporting them. I replied affirmatively, and the employee responded unprofessionally, saying "have fun." I strongly believe that this establishment requires immediate attention, and it is imperative that gloves and proper hair restraints be implemented, particularly when handling vegetarian or vegan orders. The staff's lack of concern and disrespectful demeanor were alarming, and I am unsure if their behavior was motivated by racism, as I am an African-American. Regardless, their actions were unacceptable, and I hope that this complaint reaches the corporate office, resulting in the employees' termination. Their behavior was exceptionally disrespectful, and I am confident that the incident was captured on camera. If there was an option for zero stars they would definitely get a zero hope this reaches their corporate office please share
August 10 · S Mya Escalera (Goddess4life)I like anchovies on my pizza and when ordering through the Domino's app (it goes to this 3rd Avenue store) I always ask for extra anchovies and my pizza comes with no anchovies! So I finally complain to Domino's corporate and they finally get back to me today and tells me even though it says anchovies are available on their app this store never carries anchovies and I'm out of luck if I want anchovies through the app. So goodbye Domino's it's sad that I cannot order from you ever again if I want to get pizza the way I like it. You can take your anchovies (or lack of) and put them you know where!
September 18 · Eric Stephen JacobsThe main complaint: NOBODY WAS WEARING GLOVES!!!Most important tip: when ordering online, check the coupons before you do anything elseThe details: I ordered online. When you order online, first thing check the coupon section! The coupons are really good but they change all the time, so you can't just reorder your last order for the same price. In this case it was $19.99 for a 2 liter coke, 2 mediums pizzas with one topping each, 8 cinnamon twists, and 8 parmesan bites. At the place, once our order was ready and we came to the counter to pick it up, nobody was there. They were all working in the back, and we waited another 10, if not 15, minutes until our order was ACTUALLY ready. Moreover, as we're watching them make our pizzas as well as other orders, we notice that not a single person is wearing gloves. They're just dumping their hands into the toppings containers and not even wiping/rinsing their hands in between. What about allergies? What about people who don't eat meat? They pick up raw pepperoni with the same hands that they then dip into olives to put on a different person's pizza? I really don't understand how they are allowed to do this.
