★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I came here for tacos, quesadillas, and tamales… and I have to say, this place truly stands out. Having lived in the Bronx, where there are plenty of excellent taco spots, I wasn’t new to good Mexican food, but Don Paco exceeded my expectations. The quesadilla was especially outstanding. The purple tortillas, chicken, and cheese just blends so well. The tacos were equally impressive. My wife is usually very particular about steak in tacos and doesn’t tolerate gaminess, but the meat here was tender, flavorful, and has the quality. Same can be said for tamales, which is honestly something I wish I could get on weekdays too. But it’s only on weekends.Overall, what keeps us coming back is not just taste but the attention and dedication that go into individual ingredients which was hard to find in other taco places. It’s rare to find a spot where everything feels so thoughtfully prepared.
October 03 · Harry KimIt’s not easy finding good Mexican restaurants in NY but this place is definitely a 5 star! The food reminded me of childhood memories in Mexico! The owner Paco is extremely nice.
September 07 · Justin HernandezWe had a small office party for 10 people, and it was fantastic! Paco was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Everyone absolutely loved their meals, especially the flan, which was a big hit. The tacos and burritos received rave reviews from the whole group. Paco made the event feel special with centerpieces and a lovely card to the person we were celebrating! We can’t wait to come back!
October 02 · Liz SantosHad a great experience here a couple months ago. I just got off the train and needed a place to wait until a friend came to pick me up. The guy that worked up front was very friendly and provided excellent service. Food was good, I had a BEC, a muffin and an ice coffee while I was there. They also have free wifi so I was able to get some work done while I waited. This was a way better option for me than going to a local bar. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
September 27 · P DorFriendly to newcomers, so don't be afraid to try new flavors and ask questions about the cultural background of food :)We ate cecina taco + carne enchilada taco + carne asada quesadilla (using blue corn tortilla) + tinga de pollo empanada + iced coffee. After dining in, we took home more empanada, some bread, and various desserts. All yummy!EDIT: went back for more quesadilla and tacos, the pulled pork taco is great!!
