★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really enjoyed this spot! I’ve been trying pho around the city, and this place is definitely one of the standouts. They actually started in Virginia, and I’d always heard good things before checking them out.I ordered the pho with chicken liver and gizzards, and it was amazing. The broth had so much depth—rich, balanced with herbs, onions, and aromatics—and the chicken bits were generous, adding great texture. At $14.99, it felt like a solid deal for the quality and portion size. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making sure I had a good experience and even suggesting other dishes. I also tried the passionfruit lemon green tea, which was so refreshing and packed with flavor. The vibe of the place made it even better! Photos framed on the walls, funny chicken prints here and there, it felt unique and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Definitely worth it.
September 13 · Carmen LopezPho Ga Vang – A Hidden Gem for Chicken Pho LoversAt first glance, Pho Ga Vang might look like any other pho spot—simple, cozy, and unassuming. But don’t let appearances fool you—this place delivers on flavor in a big way. They use one broth only: chicken, and it's absolutely fantastic. The broth has a deep, rich flavor that hits all the right notes—comforting, savory, and soul-warming. Honestly, I didn’t realize just how good it was until I tried other pho spots. The broth here just hits differently—you can taste the care and quality in every sip.Their chicken is just as impressive: tender, juicy, and flavorful, with that signature yellow skin that hints at quality and tradition.Yes, the price might be a bit higher than other local spots, but the portion sizes are generous and they accept cards (a plus!). The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you’re a chicken lover, this place is a dream. The grilled lemongrass chicken is another standout—fragrant, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with both rice and noodles. It's a must-try alongside the pho.I’ve tried a lot of pho around the area, and while each spot has its own twist, Pho Ga Vang stands out for its simplicity, consistency, and deliciousness. If you want satisfying, chicken-based Vietnamese comfort food, this is the spot.
August 01 · Detective PikachuToday we tried grilled pork rice and lemongrass chicken rice. They were surprisingly delicious and also the sauce was good. The servers were friendly and explained everything patiently. This restaurant is underrated and recommend this place. We will definitely come back again.
May 11 · Jiminnie luvSurprisingly big place. The Beef Stew soup is AMAZING!! Highly recommended.Update 11/14/24:Got the Shredded Chicken PhoVery light broth, flavorful and very mildly salted. Very good. With the colder temperatures they have started to offer Hot Tea, which is a bonus. There is also a bathroom in the back.
November 14 · Cindy ChanI had high hopes for their pho, but unfortunately, the food didn't really work for me.I really really liked the broth, noodles, and greens. The chicken meat was cut together with bones, and sometimes you can bite on a small piece of bone, which just ruins the experience a little bit.The taste of bamboo sprouts was a little bit off.Overall, it feels like a nice small but popular place with good service.
